The next week went by the same as usual. School, training, studying, hanging out with Eve, and sleeping, because who doesn't take naps.
When the weekend finally rolled around I decided that enough was enough. I needed my own car and I needed it immediately. Because I had gotten into college on a full scholarship, I had a whole wack of money saved up just sitting in my bank account.
Sighing, I grab my phone and my purse and walk out of my dorm, dialing Zack's number as I go.
"Hello?" Came his voice as he answered his phone.
"Hey Zack. Do you think you could come pick me up? I've decided to do something and I need a ride. It's too far to walk"
"Yeah, sure. I'll be there in five, okay?"
"That's perfect, see you in a bit." I tell him and hang up after we say goodbye.
True to his word he pulled up outside the dorm building five minutes later. As soon as I was in the car he pulled out, speeding up once he was on the actual road.
"So where is it that I'm driving you to?" He asked me.
"The car dealership. It's about time I finally buy my dream car." I answer.
"Since when did you have the money to buy a car?" He asked in surprise.
"Since I've saved all the money I got from when I was 10 to now. Plus my summer jobs and the fact that I got into school on a scholarship." I told him.
" You're going to school on a scholarship? Why didn't I know about this?" He asked me.
" I thought you already knew. I would've told you if I knew that you didn't know. Besides, it's not that big of a deal."
"Yes it is! You're basically a genius and I didn't even know it. What are you going to school for?"
"Nursing. Same as Eve." I answered.
"That's more than a big deal Lettie. I know how hard it is to get into that program, let alone on a scholarship." He said just as we pulled in to the dealership.
"Oh look! We're here, guess it's time to go buy my car." I said, quickly getting out of Zack's car and running off to find my dream car.
"Scarlett. I thought you wanted my help." He shouted at me.
"I do. You have to keep up though." I yell back, laughing.
I kept running through the parking lot full of nice cars, but I couldn't seem to find my car. I let out a small scream of frustration and turned back to find Zack only to stop dead in my tracks at the sight of the beauty in front of me.
"Oh my god. My baby." I whisper, slowly walking towards it. I run my hand along the shiny metal and in that moment I might cry. I've finally found my baby. I didn't even hear Zack come up behind me until he spoke.
"Nice car."
An over dramatic gasp left my lips as I wheeled around to face him. "Nice car!? Zack, this is more than just any car! This is the most perfect car on the whole planet. This is the car that I've been waiting for my entire life. I would rob banks for this car, I would burn down buildings for this car. I would do just about anything for this car so don't you dare say that's it's just a nice car. This car is perfection."
"Lettie. You do know that it's just a car right?"
"Zack I swear to god I will hit you so hard you fly to Timbuktu if you so much as think that again." I threatened.
"Got it, got it. It's a beautiful car." He said.
"Damn straight is it. Where's a dealer, I want this car."
"I'll go find one. Be right back."
"Okay. Hurry though." I yell to him before turning back to my car.
I wait for a couple minutes before Zack shows back up with a car dealer.
"Finally." I mutter to myself.
"Ah, so this is the car that you would like to purchase. Nice choice."
"Ah, I know I'm so excited! Let's get this show on the road!" I exclaimed.
It took a while but eventually I was given the keys to my baby and we were allowed to leave. I lead the way back to campus and parked in front of the dorms, Zack pulling in next to me. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Eve, and when she saw me get out of my car her mouth dropped and she ran over.
"Oh my god. You finally bought it!?" She asked.
"Yeah!" I exclaimed.
"You've wanted a jeep like this for forever."
"I know. I was tired of needing people to drive me around so I finally spent my money on my baby. She's gorgeous isn't she?"

"Damn straight she is. Can I go inside?" She asked.
"Of course. Jump right in." I told her.
She jumped in the passenger side of the jeep and I could see her marvelling at the beauty of it. While she was doing that I turned to Zack.
"Thanks for picking me up this morning and taking me to the dealership. I really appreciate it. I'm also sorry about being such a bitch to you when we first met. I thought you were a douche who was going to hurt my best friend but I was wrong, and I'm really glad we became friends." I told him honestly.
"It was not a problem. And you had every right to not like me and think I was a douche. I acted like I was and sometimes still do. And I'm really glad that we're friends too princess."
I pushed him back slightly at the nickname and then pulled him into a hug. I don't know what it was but I just felt right in his arms, like I was meant to be there. Quickly pushing the thought away I pulled away from him just as Eve was getting out of the jeep.
"Well, Zack we have to go to training. I just thought that you might want to see my new ride E. And I have to get my clothes. Can't really train in a dress and heels. See you later." I said, turning to enter the building to get my stuff.
As soon as I got it I ran back down the stairs and out the door. When I got out of the building I stopped at the sight of Zack and Eve making out.
Pushing my weird feelings aside I put a smirk on my face and cleared my throats watching them jump apart.
"Ready to go now?" I asked grinning.
"Yeah. All good, lets go." Zack said, trying to act cool.
"Bye E." I shouted from the front seat of my car.
"Bye Scar." She shouted back at me.
After that I pulled out of the parking lot right after Zack and was on my way to the dojo. ---------------------------------------------- 1185 words.
I am so so so sorry that it has taken me so long to update. A lot has been going on but now that I'm done with exams and it's summer, I'm hoping that I'll be able to finished this book for you. Another update will be soon, I promise.
