CAMILA ALVAREZ SEEMED like the perfect girl with the perfect life. She was a cheerleader, had a decent amount of friends and was liked by everyone. She was the typical nice girl. Her home life was decent; she lived with her grandma and had done since she was seven, after her parents had died in a drunk driving accident coming home from their anniversary dinner. Despite her seemingly tragic story, she was still happy with her life and appreciated her grandmother having the time to look after her even though she owned the town library which admittedly didn't have a large amount of customers but was still a respected business in the community. Her job at Monet's kept her busy too, but it helped her get enough money for her and her grandmother to get by and she didn't mind working after school even if it did get in the way of her homework and cheerleading sometimes. She was grateful to have such a decent life and seemed to be the perfect girl, even if that wasn't as true as people thought.

JEFF ATKINS WAS what people would call a jock. He was star of the baseball team and was what would be called popular. However, unlike anyone in his friend group, he seemed to be a decent person with a more than decent personality.

THE TWO DIDN'T seem to have anything in common, but Jeff Atkins had been in love with the girl since freshman year and after the night of Hannah Baker's party, the two can't seem to stay away from each other.

If only that was the end of the story and they got the happily ever after they had wished for.
