Chapter 6 - The Last Day

The moment I sat on my seat Mahiru grabbed me by the arm
Mahiru : Hey (Y/N) we have to talk about something
While saying that Mahiru dragged me out of the room, I noticed a few stares on the way, when Mahiru stopped dragging me, I took a look around I noticed we were on the roof
(Y/N) : So what did you have to talk to me about?
Mahiru : You still remember the pretend date right?
I nodded in response, and Mahiru pointed at the back of the school, that's when I saw a gir looking right at us, she had green hair which she also had a white knit cap and a sailor uniform
(Y/N) : Is that her?
Mahiru : Yep, we gotta act as much as possible today, after all it is the last day
She almost sounded desapointed
(Y/N) : Got it
Mahiru : Thanks and sorry for the trouble
I simply nod
(Y/N) : It's no problem, actually it was kinda fun, well anyway class is about to start we should go before miss Yukizome hunts us down
Mahiru chuckled and nodded in confirmation, we headed to our class room and when we entered everyone in the classroom was staring at us, luckily miss Yukizome had not arrived yet, I ignore the stares and sit at my seat, I was relived because not to long after miss Yukizome arrived and the atmosphere calmed down, the classes flew by real fast, the next thing I know it's already lunch break
Mahiru : Hey, (Y/N) can we go eat lunch together
She said winking at me, I just sweat drop at what she just did and grabbed my food, we went to roof again
Mahiru : Hey (Y/N), I've been meaning to ask you something
(Y/N) : What is it?
Mahiru : Do you not feel lonely living by yourself?
(Y/N) : Not anymore, I guess I just got used to it, how about you I can tell you don't live alone
Mahiru : How can you tell?
(Y/N) : Well for starters, you have a really high sense of responsibility, your also so good at taking care of other people in a motherly sense
Mahiru : Well I don't do it because I want to bother other people its because I just don't want people to end up like my dad
(Y/N) : Like your dad?
Mahiru : Yeah, since my mom works as a war photographer she isn't home much so I do all the house work because my dad doesn't want to, that's why I sometimes wonder if I'll ever be a great photographer like my mom, since the only thing I can do is take photos
So that's why she's like that, she must wonder that because if she leaves she'd leave her dad alone, after a minute of thinking I respond
(Y/N) : I can't give that good of advice, since I don't know what you've been through but, I can tell you that you can do more than just take photos, your high sense of responsibility and being able to take care of others are your redeeming qualities, and who knows maybe you'll get the chance to travel and take photos like your mom
I say to her with a smile, Mahiru stays quiet and looking the way
(Y/N) : Hey Mahiru are you ok?
Mahiru : Y-yeah, Thanks
(Y/N) : No problem, we should hurry up and eat before lunch break ends
Mahiru nodded and we finished eating then we headed to the class room, as the end of the day finally got here I prepared to go back home, but before that Mahiru came up to me and asked me to go outside the classroom because the girl that confessed to Mahiru would be there, so I did and when I arrived I found the girl who was looking at us when we were on the rooftop and Mahiru in a awkward silence
??? : Mahiru, I will happily acknowledge your relationship with (Y/N)
(Y/N) : Wait how you know my name?
??? : Oh? You don't know? Your quite well known among the ladies
(Y/N) : I am ? Well any ways moving on does that mean your accepting us being together?
??? : Yep, see you guys later
She said turning around and leaving
Mahiru : Does that mean we can stop pretending?
(Y/N) : I guess so, well bye Mahiru see you tomorrow
Mahiru : Yeah, see you tomorrow
I entered the classroom grabbed my stuff and started heading out but Chiaki called out to me
Chiaki : Hey (Y/N)
(Y/N) : What is it Chiaki?
Chiaki : Do you have any plans right now?
(Y/N) : Huh? Ah, No why?
Chiaki : There's someone I would like to present to you, it's a friend from the reserve course
(Y/N) : Oh, ok lead the way
On our way managed to see Mahiru with a girl really pale and brown hair, they were laughing so I imagined that they were friends and continued following ChiakiI, we arrived at the fountain, where a brown haired boy was
Chiaki : Hajime!
Hajime : Chiaki! Oh? Brought another friend with you?
(Y/N) : My name is (Y/N) (L/N) it's a pleasure to meet you
Hajime : I'm Hajime Hinata the pleasures all mine
Chiaki : i brought (Y/N) so we can all play together is that ok?
Hajime : I don't mind...
And with that you got to know Hajime and Chiaki a little bit better, you look at your phones time and it was late and you had to get groceries on your way home so you told them you had to go
(Y/N) : Sorry Chiaki I have to go do a little errand
Chiaki : Oh it's ok il see you tomorrow (Y/N)
(Y/N) : See ya later Hajime
Hajime : Yeah
I start walking on to the store for groceries

I was walking home while checking the groceries to make sure I didin't miss anything, it didin't look like it so I just hurried up and went home
