"You were supposed to cut the green wire, you idiot!" Keith yelled, as he sped down the emergency staircase of the large glass building.
"I thought Pidge said the yellow one!" Lance replied, as he jumped over the last three steps and clutched onto the railing.
"Yellow sounds nothing like green!" Keith screamed. The exit door was just ahead, and both of them burst through it. They ran; hearts pounding, legs burning, arms swinging, eyebrows furrowed. Everything seemed silent until an eruption cascaded throughout the streets of London, as the glass building blew up into a fiery haze. The impact radiated throughout the whole building, sending debris and fire in all directions. Lance and Keith both got caught in the drift, and were lifted off of their feet, only to fly into a silver Ford.

Sirens could be heard in all directions, as fire trucks, ambulance cars and police vehicles all rushed to witness the commotion.
Lance slapped his hand onto the driver's door, to support himself as he tried his hardest to regain his footing. Small cuts could be seen on his cheeks, where he had met the car window with his head. He turned around, eyes wide, breathing heavily as he stared at the destruction, he had created.
Keith's feet crunched when he stepped onto the glass of the backseat car window, where his shoulder had forced its way into the window. He staggered to his feet, holding his slightly cut, muscular arm. He flipped round and his back slammed into the car door, as he looked and admired Lance's destruction.
"Well done, idiot." Keith puffed, breathlessly.
"I think I did... a pretty good job." Lance replied, also slightly breathless.
"Although, I don't think... we'll be getting... a raise for this."
Keith smirked. "You figured that out... on your own, did you now?"
Lance chuckled. Apparently his partner did have a sense of humour.

"I told you specifically, the green wire!" Pidge stated, as Lance and Keith strode out of the elevator, past desks and desks of policemen/ policewomen filling out paperwork and answering calls.
"I thought you said the yellow one. Either way, nobody got hurt, nobody died and everything is back to normal." Lance replied, pouting even when he held his head high.
"What?! How could you possibly think that green is yellow? They don't even sound similar." Pidge cried, astonishment lacing her voice.
"That's what I told him." Keith said, shaking his head. Lance just pouted.
"Anyway, the Chief is waiting for you idiots in the office. You better go and meet him." Pidge informed them, before walking down an aisle of desks to head over to the printers.
Lance and Keith gave each other nervous glances as they walked towards the office, of their captain.

They opened the glass door to the office, and walked in, one behind the other.
"You were supposed to disable the bomb, to make sure it didn't blow up the whole building." The chief stated; his fingers were entwined with each other, with his chin resting on top of them. His hair was black in the middle and around the sides, but some of his hair was snowy white, especially at the front of his head. Lance and Keith watched as the chief, closed his eyes and breathed in deeply. His misty, grey eyes shot open to give them soul piercing gazes.
"Well, either way, you two didn't get terribly hurt and nobody else got injured. So, job well done. Be ready though, the next case might be quite soon." The chief informed them.
"Copy that, Shiro" Keith replied, bowing slightly.
"Bring it on!" Lance yelled, fist bumping into the air. Shiro just looked at him; and that was enough to make Lance cower slightly. "Understood. Sir."
"Good. Go get lunch." Shiro told them. Lance burst out of the room, hands in the air and Keith followed behind, with his hands tucked into his jean pockets; smirking.
"We got let off easy, you know." Keith told Lance, as they walked out the same way they had come in.
"Yeah. We did didn't we." Lance said, smiling. "Are we going to Scott's Diner for lunch, again?"
"Of course we are. We always do." Keith replied. Lance just smiled as they turned around in the elevator to face the rows of police officers again. Keith pressed the button that had the letter 'G' printed on it, to take them to the ground floor.
"Let's go and eat then!" Lance grinned. Keith sighed and then smirked, hands still in his pockets, as the silver elevator door closed.

A phone rang on Shiro's desk. He looked at it, contemplating whether or not to pick the thing up. He sighed. Shiro lifted up the black phone and held it close to his ear. At first, Shiro was reasonably calm, until the conversation went on. His eyebrows became furrowed and then a look of pure shock, shone through his eyes.
"What!" He said, astonishment clearly portrayed in his face and voice.
"I understand." His face became less aggravated, and he nodded his head a couple of times and said 'yes' at certain points. He placed the phone down. Shiro stood, hands on his glass desk. His reflection stared back at him, eyes wide and sweating slightly. He slammed his metallic fist onto the desk, grunting, and everyone outside his office looked up. Shiro threw open the glass door.
"Get Keith and Lance... Now!"
Hunk and Pidge looked at each other. This wasn't good at all...
