Ah, the glories of senior year. Waking up early, going to classes, all that fancy stuff. Will groaned, dropping his backpack on the counter and going to wake up Nico. He softly stepped into his room, the door creaking open slightly. Will smiled at the painting on the wall, remembering all those years ago when he and his flatmate had yet to know each other and often quarreled.
"Neeks, wake up. You have to go to class." Nico grumbled and rolled over in his bed, his blankets tumbling onto the floor. He curled up into a ball. Will suppressed a laugh. "Nico, Angel, come on." He shook his shoulder. Nico opened his eyes ever so slightly and glared at Will. Then, being the gentleman he was, he stuck his middle finger up at him. Will just smirked and his ring finger rose in return, his engagement ring glinting in the light. His lips curled up as if to say, get used to it, death boy, you're stuck with me. Nico rolled his eyes and stepped out of bed, rising on his toes to kiss Will's cheek before he grumbled something about coffee and left the room. Will followed and walked into the kitchen, knowing Nico would be too tired to make his own cup. "Go get ready, I'll make it." The black haired boy nodded and trudged out of the room. After pouring him a cup, Nico walked back in, looking much more awake. He pulled his backpack onto his shoulder and took the cup from Wills hand.
"Thanks, Sunshine."
"Have a good day at school! Don't forget your homework, and tell me all about it when you get home!" Will called teasingly after him, reaching out to ruffle his hair. Nico turned, laughing.
"Okay, mom."
"I love you."
"I love you, too."
