Felix woke up to an excited Ally.
"What?" He asked sitting up.
She giggled. "You've been adopted!"
He shrugged. "I don't care."
Her grin turned sour. "Just get your stuff and meet me down stairs."
She left the door unlocked. When she was out of site he got dressed in a white tank top, black cotton jacket, matching jeans, and converse. He reached under his bed and pulled out a large suitcase. It didn't take him that long since he didn't own a lot of stuff.
Felix...
He jerked his head all around the room.
"Who's there?" He asked.
No response.
Grabbing his suitcase he ran downstairs and out the door. He slid into the car and looked at the orphanage one last time.
They arrived at a small brown house with the couple standing outside holding hands. Felix's mouth dropped open at the sight of him. He was ginormous. Ally and him got out of the car and walked up the pathway. Felix felt so short next to the man even though he was six' two.
"You must be Felix." The woman smiled and said to him.
He nodded.
"Come, let me show you around." She said.
Felix turned his head to look at Ally, she just nodded. He followed them inside and got the grand tour. Once they where done they left him in his new room. Felix looked around. There was a twin sized bed, a dresser, desk, and a nightstand. The room was a dark blue. He looked out the window. Ally was already gone, he stared thinking about his little sister. Just then there was a knock on the door.
"Ya?" He asked.
The door opened and the woman came into the room.
"Are you hungry?" She asked.
Felix shook his head. "No, I'm fine Mrs..."
She cut him off. "Just call me Judith."
He nodded. And she left. He went over and laid down on the bed holding the crystal above his head with his other arm tucked under head. It started to glow a bright purple. Felix shot up into a sitting position and it stopped.
"What the fuck?" He whispered to himself as he twisted it in his hand.
Felix... He heard the voice in his head again.
"Who are you?" He asked.
You were always the dumb one of my children....
"No..." He recoiled in fear. "Mom?"
So you do remember me...
A laugh echoed in his head. He blacked out. When his eyes opened again he found a red headed man siting on his chest. He panicked. He knew those features. That hair, those hazel eyes, and that strong jawline. He pulled out a knife.
"My you've grown, you look a lot like me." His father said as he started cutting down the length of Felix's face.
Felix held back his screams. He passed out from fear.
When he awoke again he sat up in a sweat.
"Good, it was only a dream." But then he looked down a found his pillow covered in blood.
He ran across the hall and into the bathroom, he locked the door. Slowly he made his way the the sink. He looked in the mirror and moved his hair to reveal multiple crimson lines running down his face.
