Chapter 2

It's sunny.

Tapping one hand on the glass window, Pani glanced down at the school ground absentmindedly.

He could feel something weighing on his chest. The annoyance was driving him insane.

Frowning, Pani drown into his own world.

"What are you thinking?" asked Jojo as he walked into the room carrying a pile of documents, disrupting Pani's flow of thoughts.

"..."

Pani turned around and met Jojo's eyes for a second before he once again dropped his gaze.

"...nothing actually."

Jojo looked at him for a moment before handing out one of the documents.

"...If it's about what happened yesterday, don't think too much of it," said Jojo as he organized the papers.

Looking up at Pani, he regretted, "Pani, I'm sorry for not being by your side at such crucial time-"

"It wasn't your fault," interrupted Jojo before he could finish his apology, Pani lifted his head and looked straight into his friend's eyes.

"I'm just," halted for a second to choose the right word, "well, a little bit disturbed."

Pani sat down on his usual chair and signed the paper, "the feeling of not knowing anything, it's not very comfortable."

"You can just ignore him," and look at me instead.

Jojo hated himself for never being able to finish the sentence.

Staring at Pani looking up at the sky once again despite him being there, Jojo's eyes gleamed with an unrecognizable hint of sorrow for a moment.

Then as he let out a sigh light as feather, he narrowed his gaze and went back to work.

Meanwhile, Pani was reminiscing about yesterday's incident.

After the crowd was dismissed, a moment of silence was dominating the room.

Or in fact, the area at the classroom's door. 

"..."

Pani was obviously dumbfounded for as long as he could remember, but his brain was never swayed from analyzing how he got into this situation and what he should do to get away as naturally as possible.

"Uhm..."

Awkwardly took half a step forward and turned around, Pani looked up and faced the young man behind him in the eyes.
