It's been a couple weeks since your promotion, and above all your escape. You felt at ease in your new office and it placement, but yet you still felt some mild paranoia, occasionally thinking she was going to come back. You were given absolutely no reason to believe this though, as nothing else has arisen since your reassignment. Your paperwork was extremely boring, lengthy, but yet you couldn't ask for any better as it took your mind off the events that occurred. But yet the paranoia persisted, you always felt eyes on you, her eyes... that look you felt sting in your back when you left. You always stopped yourself before thinking of- shit, what would happen if she ever found you? You shook your head, focusing on your paperwork again, ignoring the thought. She was gone, far away from you. You continued with your mindless paperwork, always half-asleep and zoned into it, clearing your mind of any other thought. You had established a daily cycle of receiving paperwork, reaping souls, doing the paperwork, turning it in, all with very little overtime. Your had moved into the new apartment William suggested only a couple days after, knowing damn well she knew where you lived. You felt comfortable in the office, but you were never quite at ease when you were alone. You found it hard to sleep, often getting up to check the doors and windows were locked, and at one point you considered installing a deadbolt on your door, just as she had done. Perhaps you should, but still, there were windows- you always shrugged the thoughts off, tossing around and trying to sleep, eventually tiring yourself out but only getting around 4 hours of sleep at most. Other than that and the paranoia, things started to have a better outlook.
