Chapter 2

Later that day...

Alaska's P.O.V.

After almost running into Arrow, I figured I would pay him a visit. When I got home I washed myself and braided my hair to the side. I should atleast look decent right? Anyway, I then run over to where he lives with his buddies. This forest is the place I've lived the longest after my parents death so I know the ins and outs of this place from exploring while traning.

When I arrive at Arrow's "house" you could say, I keep quiet listening into their conversation, oh don't worry, I'll sneek in somehow. They're super oblivious so it should be pretty easy.

Arrow's P.O.V.

"We seriously need to figure out why Alaska keeps stealing our targets," one of my men Will states.

"No shit sherlock." I respond while pinching the bridge of my nose,.

"And to top it off she's a girl! I'm just surprized that she can even fight that well!" another one of men say.

"Well, that's not nice now is it." my head snaps up to see Alaska standing in the corner cleaning off her dagger that she always has with her.

"What are you doing here bitch." I growl and she looks at me hurt but her eyes say that she's totally up to something. "Ah-ah-ah watch your mouth there buddy." she says, "and all I wanted was to pay a visit and tell you you're welcome for taking out whats-his-name."

"We never said thank you," Jacob sneers and she gives him a look like 'really.'

"Actually,"she says and stabs her dagger into the wooden table while leaning on the table, "I came here to ask for your help. Shocking right? But its a target that I've been hunting for 17 years now and she keeps slipping away from me and I'd really appreaciate the help."

"Wait she?" I ask dumbfounded because its rare to have a female target. She nodds her head and continues, "She murdered my mother causing my dad to die from grief and killed most of the village I lived in. Also she's a sorceress who is very dangerous and can kill you in a heartbeat. But if you're too scared, I understand..." she finishes with a smirk. I look over to me men and call then closer so she doesn't over hear.

Alaska's P.O.V.

They've been huddled in a circle for a while now and its getting quite annoying. I walk over to the table and grab my dagger out from where I slamed it into the table and clear my throat. That snapps them out of it and they all look back at me.

"I guess, but on one condition," Arrow starts to say, "you will stay here with us and help us take out targets. BUT you will go along with whatever our plans are and not interfere." when he's done he looks so satisfied with himself but really I've got him wrapped around my finger, the only annoying thing will be staying with them.

"Fine, I'll sleep outside like I normally do and when it comes time to kill Nastia, you all listen to me and only me." I say setting my expectations. I turn around and leave to go and find a comfortable spot to sleep because its starting to get dark out and I'm getting tired. I see a perfect beanch and I climb up the tree in 2 seconds flat. I've gotten pretty good at this I think to myself. Just as I was closing my eyes I hear someone clear their throat. I look down and its Arrow with something under his arm.

"Here's a blanket and a piece of bread with an apple," he says tossing everything up to me.

"Why are you being nice?" I ask confused.

"Well, we're going to have to be putting up with you so I figured I would atleast try to be nice." he says shrugging then starts to walk away. I stare at him dumbfounded not knowing what to say. I evenually throw the blanket over me and eat the apple and bread then let the darkness of sleep overcome me. I'm just hoping that I won't have the nightmare again.

Dream/Nightmare:

I look around to see my old village but it's completely bare and there's no sign of life anywhere. Alaska I hear someone call my name and I run towards the source. It took me a while to find it but when I do, I'm at my parents grave. I look at the ground to see my mother in pain with the dagger in her back. My dad's holding her and he looks up at me and starts shouting Its YOUR fault! over and over until I feel my self waking up...

I jolt awake only to realize that I'm still in the tree but that it's dark outside. I look up to the thousands of stars scattered across the black night sky. I miss you guys, I whisper and feel a single tear roll down my cheek. I brush it away and close my eyes, trying to fall into a dreamless sleep once again.

Arrow's P.O.V.

Dream/Nightmare:

I'm walking hand in hand with my girlfriend Jamie. She looks at me and smiles but a second later when she looks over my shoulder she lets out a blood curdling scream. I turn around to see 3 wolves growling at us and showing their teeth. I push Jamie behind us and take out my knife. I fight off 1 but when another starts to attack more show up. I'm overwhelmed with the amount that I'm now fighting that I forgot to protect Jamie. I kill the 3 wolves I had been fighting and scan the area frantically. I see her and relax but run over to her once I realize that she's on the ground laying in her own blood. I sprint over to her body and hold her head up.

"No! Don't leave me!" I say holding back the tears. I lean down to kiss her soft lips and once I do she dissinagrates into dust. Thats when I feel someone shaking my shoulders...

"Wake up man!" I hear Jacob say while shaking my shoulders.

"Okay okay, I'm up." I say and sit up.

"You had the dream again didn't you?" he asks and I nod while running my hand through my hair. I remember her; a slight tan with dark brown wavy hair and her eyes, a beautiful turquoise....

"Holy shit!" I yell, "Alaska looks just like Jamie!"

"No fricken way. You're right." Jacob mutters.

"I don't know what I'm going to do." I say and fall back onto my pillow.

"Just don't go falling in love with her. Remember your promise." Jacob replies with a joking smile but then turns serious.

"I'll try," I say and when he leaves I try to fall back into a dreamless sleep.

Chapter 2! Sorry they're super short and I flip back and forth between view points but I feel that it's more interesting that way.
