Chapter 6

Arrow's P.O.V.

I hear my name being called from somewhere but I can't concentrate on anything else because I'm too focused on finding Alaska.

"Arrow!" I hear someone yell and I finally snap out of it and turn around to see the guys standing behind me frowning.

"What!" I say back and cross my arms.

"Well if you had been listening," Daniel says and gives me a look of annoyance, you would have known that we found this outside on the step. Same place as the other one and same paper and everything." He finishes and tosses it to me. I catch it and pull off the ribbon on the outside and practically rip it open.

Arrow Night,

2 days is how long you have to find your love and save her. Well that all depends on how she is you see. Stab wounds are nasty things. Her spirit is probably gone too, like her voice. Know I know you're ignoring how you feel about her but that is the clue to find her. Good luck.

I let the letter fall to the ground and run a hand over my face and begin pacing.

"What was in it?" Jacob asks as Daniel picks up the letter and reads it.

"Nothing concerning you Jacob." Daniel says and pulls me outside. "What does she mean 'Stab wounds are nasty things'?"

"No id-oh no," I say as I feel the blood drain from my face, "man we need to find her. Now." I say and just as I was about to go and grab a knife, Daniel stops me.

"Think first. Listen to the letter. She said that the only way you'll find her is if you accept your feelings for her." He says.

"How. I made a promise Dan. And plus, I'm not even sure she likes me."

"Well for one she has to feel something if that's the key to finding her. Just think back to the last time you saw her." He says and I start to pace.

"Well the last time I saw her was when Jacob was mad at me but the last time I really talked to her was when she was laying on the cliff." I say slowing down in realization, "Grab a knife we've got to go." I say and we run inside and just as we were going to leave the door we're stopped.

"Where are you guys going?" Will asks and I just give him a glare and push past him with Daniel behind me.

"Stay here." I yell behind me and take off to the last spot I truly saw Alaska.

Alaska's P.O.V.

I slowly open my eyes to see Nastia standing over me with a satisfied smile plastered on her face. I start to ask 'What?' but then realize that I have no voice anymore and it takes all of me to not break down in tears.

"Congratulations your knight in shining armor is racing to come and save you." She says and I look away not wanting to deal with her mind tricks. I'm going to die here and that's how it ends.

Oh come on sweat heart, cheer up. I hear in my mind and I jump a little not expecting it. Oh and by the way I can get into your mind now. You can talk to me now but the only way you'll speak again is by defeating me. You'll get your answers too.

Why are you mocking me by telling my that Arrow is coming? I ask and she smiles.

Oh I'm not lying dear. See? She says and opens up her palm just in time to see Arrow and I think Daniel reach the cliff. I see a whole scene play out in front of me. They are looking around and their mouths are moving but there's no sound. Arrow walks over to where I was laying and all of a sudden he and Daniel are gone and I hear a faint thud above me.
