Chapter 9: My First Kiss Went A Little Like This....

TIME SKIP THROUGH SOME EMBARRASSING TRUTHS AND A WHOLE LOTTA CRAZY DARES.

I never intended for my feelings for Corey to come out so soon, but thanks to this game my feelings will be the trending topic on every social media and tabloid website. The person to blame for my plan to be in shambles is Teo.  He asked me truth and the question was "who in the cast do you like as more than a friend?". I blushed and stared at Corey like a deer in the headlights and the rest of the gang caught on right away. Well, almost the whole gang. Teo keeps on poking me and repeating the question. Finally Amir whispers in Ham's ear and the poking stops immediately. "Ok everyone" Sabs interrupts, "let's go to the comments!". She leans over to the device and scrolls down. The comments all look fairly normal. Things such as "omg [insert random male cast member's name] is soooooo cute/hot/adorkable/sexy/etc" and "Rowan/Sabrina is so awesome/beautiful/down to earth!". Sabs keeps scrolling down and stops at one. Her jaw drops and stares at the camera. I lean forwards and read the offending comment, "this Maddy girl needs to eff off. She is so fake and obviously wants to be on the show just for the attention. She keeps fawning over what's-his-name but he isn't even that attractive. I would be a much better addition to the cast and I would cater to skinny kid's every whim. No matter how dirty 😉. Also we can all see that they have feelings for each other, they can stop being so oblivious". Tears are forming in my eyes, but they do not fall. I gather up my courage and look straight at the camera. "Who ever posted the rude comment I have a couple of things to say to you. First of all I will not eff off. I'm not on the show to get attention. I don't care about that, I want to be on a show I love and have respect for. Also I'm not fawning over him. And his name is Corey Shain Fogelmanis and I think he is extremely attractive by my standards, which by the way are very high. If you think you're a better addition to the cast, why didn't you come to auditions then? Plus the cater to every whim no matter how dirty thing? I'll do that too, when we're in a stable relationship and we have mutual trust and loyalty. Amd finally thank you for ruining my plan for opening up myself to him and to see if he is boyfriend material. I was going to evaluate our relationship after the episode of our first kiss and see where it goes. I guess the cats out of the bag now. Ladies and gentlemen, my answer to Teo's question about who I like as more than a friend is Corey Shain Fogelmanis".

As soon as I said Cor's name, everyone turned towards him to see his reaction. He turns to the camera and then turns to me with eyes wide. His mouth turns into a big smile, only reverting to neutral when he opens his mouth to speak. "Madison Grace Rooke, we have only known each other for a few days but I feel the exact same way. I'm not going to ask you out right away because I want to see how our relationship will evolve and if we are compatible. By the way every time you talk in your head about me, you're actually saying everything out loud. And for the record I could see the texts you sent to your mom, that's why I went to the bathroom to contain my excitement at the fact that a girl actually likes me and has liked me even before my glow up. So now everyone knows and I will scream it to the world. Even though I would be whispering it to Maddy, because she is my world". He blushes as he says the last part and kisses me on the cheek. I blush deeper than him and kiss him back. It feels so natural and real that I forget that he is my friend boy and not my boyfriend. We stare at each other for a long time, just getting lost in each others eyes and pretending we are the only ones in the room. After awhile we snap out of our cliche romance trance and notice the iPad is off and everyone is back on their own couchs grinning at us. We grin back at them and I snuggle into his chest, his arm around me pulling my body as close as possible to him. "I may not be a perfect girl, but I'm his perfect girl".
