After a few minutes, the principal's mind wandered. She tried to think back to Zuriel, and everything she knew about her, to figure out if there was a way she could help her. After all, if there was anything she could, she wanted to do it. And besides, it felt as if she owed her something...

It was a quiet day, the moon light shimmering through the blinds of Dylan's room.
As she waited for the moon to shine to the crystal on the other side of the room, Dylan couldn't help but doze off. Everytime she did, Dylan would shake her head vigorously, trying to stay awake.
After about an hour, the moonlight refuses to shine to the crystal, and Dylan's brows furrowed.
Giving up, she crawled to her bed, putting an arm over her eyes.
After a few moments, she realized she couldn't sleep. Getting up, Dylan crossed her arms.
She sighed. "Well. This is annoying."
Bored, she decided to walk outside a bit, but didn't want to wake her parents by going through the front door. In the end, she decided to go through her window instead, even if it took forever to lift it open.
And it did.
Seven minutes later, Dylan stepped outside, and breathed in the warm summer air.
Dylan closed her eyes and smiled. She took a step forward--- until she almost stepped on someone
It was dark, so she could barely see who it was, but she could tell from the long locks and rise on her chest that it was a girl. At least, she thinks.
The girl was sleeping, she presumed. So very carefully, Dylan decided to try picking up the girl.
But she wouldn't budge. It wasn't that she was heavy, it was more like... She wasn't there.
No, it wasn't that either. It was more like something was stopping her.
Trying to break whatever barrier was stopping her, Dylan wasted five minutes of her life.
Just as Dylan was sure she was getting somewhere, the girl's eyes opened.
Dylan gasped.
She had big rose colored iris-less eyes, framed with long hair. Dylan couldn't quite tell, but she could've sworn the hair was grey-- or was it?
Whatever it was, the girl's eyes shimmered, as if they embodied the moon.
Dylan stared at them, wondering what she should do.
Should she run? Should she hide? Should she smile or shake their hand? Should she call her family? The police?
The strange girl stared at Dylan at suddenly pulled her hair.
Just as Dylan was about to scream, the girl pulled her head towards her forehead. Just before impact, Dylan thought of her last wishes.

Dylan opened her eyes, only to find herself in a tent. But it couldn't be her tent, her tent was much smaller. This was the tent of a stranger's.
Dylan assumed that the she had been knocked out and kidnapped or something by that girl, and was now hostage. Strangely enough, Dylan wasn't scared. She wasn't sad, of even angry. It must've not hit her yet.
Looking around, Dylan tried to get an idea of where she was judging by the nearby surroundings.
The tent was huge, maybe even as big as her house, and had the same dirty green color as her own tent. There were strange masks and paintings lying on the ground, as if the owner had tried to hang them up. It smelled like cinnamon.
Weirdos, Dylan thought, as she was just about to get up.
But, to Dylan's shock, she couldn't. It wasn't that she was stuck, it was more like..she wouldn't. Or couldn't.
Her stomach rumbled, and Dylan tried to get up again, to no avail.
Just as Dylan decided to risk it and give her world famous animalistic scream, she saw someone walk in at the corner of her eye. Dylan was hit with a sudden smell of blueberries, so strong Dylan could almost taste it.
"Hungry?" They asked, as Dylan immediately felt a sudden hate for this man.
Finally, it's hitting me. she thought proudly, as she tried to give the man her other world famous glare.
As the man approached closer, she realized it was in fact, a woman. But it wasn't the one she tripped over. No, this one had short dark hair, and pretty chocolate brown eyes.
Coupled with her chocolate-y brown skin and shiny teeth, Dylan was reminded of her neighbor, and the way Dylan always couldn't help but think of the lady's delicious pudding and Apple pie whenever she saw her. And she didn't even like apples.
Expecting a tray of pie and pudding, Dylan's eyes immediately trailed to her tray, and was horrified to see... A dismembered arm.
Oh. Well.
Dylan tried to scream, but still, as infuriating as it was, she still couldn't. Or wouldn't. Whatever it was.
The woman smiled once again, seeing as Dylan's eyes trailed to the arm.
"If you wanna eat, this is your best choice." The woman said pleasantly, as she set down the tray next to
Dylan.
Finally Dylan got up, and crossed her legs. She still couldn't scream though.
The woman gently sat down in front of her, eagerly waiting for Dylan to eat the...arm.
Dylan managed to glare at the woman, as she looked back at her pleasantly. Pushing herself up, Dylan reached for the arm. Wait a sec-- she wasn't a righty. Oh wait. Oh. That was her arm. Great. Things couldn't get any better than this.
"Now now, you don't want to go hungry do you?" She said, her friendly smile turning into a sinister smirk. "Don't worry, you were sedated when we removed it."
Finally, as if lady luck smiled down on her, Dylan managed to move a bit more. As she reached for the arm, and then made a drastic move. Her reflexes quick, Dylan's right hand reached for the lady's neck her eyes focusing on them.
Unfortunately, just before she could, Dylan realized there were, in fact, chains around them. Oh great.
The lady's friendly smile turned to an angry glare. Before Dylan could do a thing, the lady slapped her as hard as she possibly could, and Dylan fell to the ground. Dylan barely made a sound, only making a slight grunt.
"That wasn't very nice dear." The lady said, her voice soft that Dylan almost had to lean in a bit to hear her.
Suddenly, she kicked Dylan in the gut. Dylan gasped. The lady kicked Dylan again, even harder, knocking the breath out of her. She kicked Dylan two more times, and with each hit, Dylan was sure her ribcage was getting more and more dislocated. The adrenaline rushed through her body, and Dylan feel herself getting numb. Was she bleeding? No, but it felt like she was going to throw up.
