After that encounter. She immediately started blushing like a squishy tomato. She couldn't hold it any longer. She shivered as the cold air brushed against her skin. Like an invisible ice bath, though no water was used. Just the temperature.
She jogged for warmth back home. It wasn't that far, just a few blocks away from here. Damnit, she thought. I wished I brought my coat with me.
As I jogged more and more, trying to get warm, the wind fought back, engulfing her in ice cold temperatures. Before she could even exit the parking lot, she fainted, the darkness swallowing her body whole.

She woke up to see a familiar face. Looking worried as he placed his hand on her forehead. As he took it away fiercely like he was touching a hot pan, he whipped out his cell phone and called the ambulance.
He then dragged her into the store, bypasses watching intently at the heroic protagonist saves the day. But this isn't that type of story.
He tried to get her into the warmest place possible. He dragged her down the clothing area, then got the closest fluffiness coat that he could see, then gently placed it on her shoulders.
"T-tha-ank y-yo-you..." Any tried her best to say the words as she can but its like the cold has taken over her body. Preventing her to do what she wants with ease.
Later that night, the ambulance came with their bed ready. David Blass and the two ambulance professionals grunted with effort to lift her up and into the rescue bed. They awkwardly tiptoed back to the van as fast as they can, Dave hopped into the van and they drove off, not saying a word.
Sir, is she going to be okay?
It's just a mild frostbite coma, she will be up and awake in two weeks.
Two weeks?!
Please sir, calm down. I know this is a stressful situation for you.
What do we do then?
Wait. We will wait.

As I woke up, I saw many happy faces to see me, all of them were recognizable. I smiled awkwardly at them with a nervous glance. Then suddenly, "SHE'S BACK!" came from my mum. My dad wasn't there, thankfully. That dickhead left me and my mum when I was 12 to fend for ourselves, he took our cash, moms credit card, her wallet and even my wallet he shoved his hairy hand in and ran away. He swiped his phone. I saw the scene of this happening.
It was no surprise he had done this. He treated mum like dirt, treated me like dirt and even little Caleb, who was 5 years old. He made every one of us cry. I'm 23 now, I now have to do my job and look after my mum when Caleb is gone. When Caleb is gone, she gets a sense of loneliness in her heart. As I said, I was 23, so Caleb is 18. He could've beaten my dad up to a pulp then take our money back. He probably spent it on drugs and alcohol and strippers and I now hope he is a homeless man. I wonder how hard karma has hit him.
It was funny how I said this, because when we went to Primark to get me new clothes to make me feel better, we saw a familiar looking man sitting at the front with a familiar looking hat.
When we were about to go inside, the familiar man looked more familiar - it was dad. When dad said to her "S-sandra. Pl-Please come back to me—"
Mom looked back in disgust, " Come back to you?
