"watch where your going, loser."
"walk faster, nerd."
I trudged through the crowded hallways, ignoring the people shouting mean comments at me. I rushed into class right as the bell rang and ran to my seat in the back.
My teacher groaned as she walked in with her coffee cup in her hand and a book bag on her arm. "Goodmorning students, take your seats." She scolded at the boys fooling around in the back. I glared at them and scooted my chair farther away from the boys, hiding my face with my sweater sleeves.
A tall, blonde haired boy with a lip piercing tapped on my shoulder and handed me a tiny note. I awkwardly took the note and opened it.
"how about you hook up with me for 5 bucks? ;)"
He laughed at my reaction, along with the rainbow haired boy. I looked down at my sloppy boots. The left boot had a giant hole in the side, along with some mud on the front. The right one had little rips through out the whole shoe. The soles were worn out and my toes almost stuck out the front.
I looked back up, embarassed. I hid my face in my hands and waited for the bell to ring.

Hi, My name is Bri. I'm 17 years old and in my junior year of high school. I have light brown wavy hair, dark green eyes, and a few freckles. I guess you can say I have a curvy figure, definetly not thin.
I live with my Aunt and my little brother, Alex. He's 11 years old and looks exactly like me. (well in boy form.)
My parents died 10 years ago in a car accident, only a year after Alex was born. My aunt has been raising us ever since.
My aunt and I don't have the best relationship. She's spends her days getting drunk at the bar. With her gone all the time, Alex is all I have.
We survive on a small unemployment check every month. We shop at thrift shops, We don't do much for the holidays, and we live in a small 2 bedroom apartment, so I have to share a room with an 11 year old boy.
I have a part time job at the food court in the mall, that doesn't make very much. But it's still better than nothing right?
I was snapped out of my thoughts by the teacher shouting, "BRI!" I jumped and looked up at her. "The bell rang 2 minutes ago."
I awkwardly grabbed my stuff and walked out.

FanfictionBri was just another one of the school poor, unloved, bullied school "nerds." She didn't go to the mall every weekend, she didn't have a skinny body, she didn't have a wealthy and happy family, she wasn't like everyone else.
