{Bri's P.O.V}

The final bell rang signaling that the day is over. Everybody ran to their lockers and to the exit doors. I was walking to my locker as one of the football jocks pushed me over.

"Move it, bitch." He hissed and walked. I gathered up my stuff and limped to my locker. I held my hip in pain as I quickly grabbed my backpack and put my stuff in it. "You okay?" I heard a familiar voice mumble.

I looked to see it was my locker neighbor, Calum. "Don't you have a group to get back to?" I hissed. I didn't want to be mean, but why was he talking to me?

"Nah, they left a few minutes ago." He grabbed my backpack off my shoulders and held it in his hands. "w-what are you doing?" I looked nervously at him.

"I'm not gonna let you carry this heavy backpack for 4 blocks." How did he know I lived four blocks away? I think he could hear my thoughts cause he suddenly added, "My old bus used to go by your apartment and I saw you."

"Oh." I mumbled. "Anyways, wanna come over and work on the project? Michael will be there, but I won't let him bother you." He said, nervously.

"Sure." I pulled out my cheap old phone, embarassed. It only had a key pad, the back was missing, it had a tiny little screen and you could only call/text on it. For me, that's not bad, but compared to every one else's phones these days, this is garbage.

I texted My Aunt and told her where I was. I knew she wouldn't answer,  but its better to be safe than sorry.

Calum walked us up to is front door. It was a two story house. Not too big but not too small. He unlocked the door and lead me in, dropping my backpack gently on the floor.

He gently grabbed my arm and lead me to his room. Little sparks shot up my arm and I blushed.  Pull yourself together, Bri.

He let go of my arm as he opened the door. His room had blue walls, which you could barely see under all the posters and pictures. I could hear an electric guitar being played from across the hall. The noise stopped and the same rainbow haired boy from school stepped into Calum's room.

"What the fuck is she doing here?" He laughed. "Michael get out." Calum glared. "Nah." Michael turned to face me. "Are you hooking up with Calum hun?" Michael snickered.

"No." I mumbled and looked away. "Michael get out." Calum repeated louder this time. Michael walked out, still giggling.

"Sorry about him." Calum sat down on the bed and patted the spot next to him, signaling me to sit. I gently sat down, giving him some space.

"Wait, so does Michael live here too?" I asked, feeling a tiny bit more comfortable with Calum.

He sighed. "Sadly. My dad married his mom during the summer, so hes my step brother." He scooted a tad closer to me.

"So let's start this project shall we?" He smiled.
