So, if you haven't seen the movie for Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by now then... skip this? Or don't, I don't really care. I just need to get this off my chest.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So by 2016 (in the movie) Enoch is 117-118, meaning he was 40-50 when he went to Miss P's loop. When the loop closed, he didn't age forward, but they said if the 2016 loop closed while they were in it they'd all age, when they shouldn't. They should've been able to live in 2016, aging one day at a time, like they are in 1943. So, why couldn't they? Why didn't Enoch age up when their loop closed, but they wouldn't when the Blackpool loop closed? Also, how is it the wights still have their peculiarities? When they were hollows did their second soul (their peculiar soul) just lay dormant? Was there a hollow that could shoot ice or make an axe with their hand? Why can't wights see hollows? They should be able to, they were once hollows... In the books the wights had no memory of where the loops were, yet it seems that in the movie they do, or they stumble upon them easily. Also, Miss Avocet says that wights brought hollows to her loop, but hollows can't go through loops, wights can.
If Abe was alive after they killed Barron, then wouldn't Malthus still be alive too? He killed Abe, but the kids apparently killed him (not sure how that's possible since the hollow in the loop couldn't be the hollow that killed Abe, since Miss P killed that one every day). There's no way Malthus died in 1943 and killed Abe in 2016.
I would be great at cinema sins.
