[Hi, guys! This is my first teen romance story and I won't explain further how I am quite suck with some lovey-dovey things. I will say that this story is a little cliche, but I promise that this one has pretty interesting scenes. I really like writings and I want to add another color in my writing style. So, please I need your comments in this one. And hopefully, if you like this story, you can vote and share...]
~LISA~
I sat with my desperate face, holding Romeo's in my embrace. I looked at his pale, lifeless face, yet still handsome and my tears began to fall uncontrollably. I shook his body several times even though I realized he was already gone from this cruel world.
I took the small vial next to his cold body and studied it. It's a poison, I thought. I saw his face again and said, "I beg you to wait for me, my dear. I shalt meet thee soon," I whispered next to his ear. Even though it scared me the most, I dared myself to quickly end it. I poured the poison into my mouth, but only found out that it was empty.
"How cruel of thee, Romeo darling! Why thou didn't save it for me?" I thundered, but his beautiful lips couldn't say a word. I cupped his face, "Perchance I can get it from thy lips, O' my sweetheart," I was calmer. Without thinking any further, I quickly lock my lips onto his to search for the poison left on his cold purple lips.
I gave up. I stopped kissing him and I started to lose my cool. I screamed like a crazy girl. I buried my face on his chest and cried a river. I hugged his head into my neck, hoping that he would wake up. But I knew it was impossible.
"O' Romeo, why art thou leaving me hither? Wherefore?" I sobbed.
I told myself that I couldn't live without him. I couldn't stay in this cruel world alone. I laid him down and tried to calm myself. I took a deep breath. I found something in his waist, something that would bring me to him. I took that knife. I put it out from its scabbard.
The smile faintly appeared on my face as I looked at him again. "Don't worry, my love. I shalt meet thee soon. We shalt be together again. From now on, there is no one can ever make us apart," I said.
I took a deep breath, pointing the sharp tip of the knife toward my chest. I stabbed the knife in my chest and the pain began to spread throughout my body. I moaned slowly. As I couldn't hold onto my body, I fell down on Romeo. I lost my ability to breath. But I was glad that I shall meet with my love soon. I will kiss goodbye to this ruthless world.
As the lightings were off and the curtains fell down, we heard all the audience clapped their hands and it was very awesome. We kept still in our position until we were sure that everything was over.
I felt my body was shaken, "Hey, is it over?" Rome asked.
I opened my eyes and I thought it was already safe to get up. I got up and looked at Rome's happy face. When he sat up, I quickly hugged him tightly, "Yeah, we succeed!" I yelled excitedly.
All the casts and director quickly gathered around us, telling us to get prepared. We both got up and formed a line with the others. As the curtain opened up again, we threw a big smile and bowed down.
The audience's enthusiasm pleased me a lot. I bet they all felt the same. We looked at each other, throwing a happy smile, knowing that we even got a standing ovation from the crowds.
After the crowds were getting calmer, we all walked to the behind of stage. I heard the others chatted with satisfaction. They congratulated me on how dramatic I brought the end of the scene. All of them also felt awe with the kissing scene. I blushed as they brought that up in front of me.
I looked at Rome and he was even more blushed than I ever be. He smiled and looked down to his feet as Ryan Carlisle and Todd Hover who played Tybalt and Mercutio teased him a lot because of that kiss.
Romeo Larson who coincidentally played Romeo on the play is a very shy boy. He is easily blushed and will hide his face if someone teases him. He actually preferred to play some minor role, but he was forced to play the main role which was scaring him a lot. But he could make it through in the entire scene.
I chuckled as he couldn't speak anything when Ryan circled his arm around his neck and whispered some dirty words next to his ear. He is so sweet, and I think he is the cutest person I have ever met. I really like his soft blue eyes and sincere smile.
Liam Skyhunter and Emma Hudson suddenly stopped my daydreaming over him when they suddenly patted my shoulder from behind. I turned around and saw Emma grinned widely toward me, and Liam's eyes seemed red and watery.
"Enjoying your wild act as you roamed into his soft pinky lips back then, Lisa?" Emma, the sarcastic girl who always wore a goth and scary outfit, teased me.
I quickly looked at Liam who looked sad and sobbed, "What happen to you? Are you crying?" I asked, trying to ignore Emma's stupid question.
He wiped his red eyes and his voice sounded so hoarse like he was crying all night long. "Why are you being so damn good actress, Lisa? I watched the old version of Romeo and Juliet and the modern version played by Leonardo Dicaprio, and I cried. Now I watched your version and I still cried," he admitted. He wiped some tears which happened to got out again from the tip of his eyes. Emma complained that he was always so easily being touched. He is openly gay and he is proud of himself. He is not too sissy although sometimes he looks not too manly like crying over a movie.
Rome, Ryan, and Todd approached us as they both stopped teasing him. I looked at that blue eyes of him and smiled as he asked me if I wanted to go home with him and his parents. Both my mom and dad were in California, visiting my sick uncle. I couldn't go because I had the play. Rome is my neighbor and best friend since we were kids.
I nodded. He told me that he would wait for me in the car after he changed his outfit. The three of them then went to the changing room, leaving me only with Emma and Liam.
"So you have already kissed him like that, when will you say that you really fall for him, Lisa?" Emma brought that topic again.
Yes, I am in love with Romeo Larson and I still don't have any courage to tell him. I don't care if people call him nerd or any other worse nickname, he always be the most beautiful person to me. But I couldn't do it because I'm afraid it would ruin our relationship. Only Emma and Liam knew the truth.
"I don't know," I said vaguely, sighing that I thought I would never have the courage to tell him that I am in love with him since we were in 7th grade.
