Alex Hartfelt slammed me to the locker hard with his strong palm. His height is almost same like me but my courage meter is far below his, so what I could do was just trying to cover my body with my arms. He glared at me with his pretty hazel eyes, but to me, they were so frightening.
Just 5 minutes before that, I was walking alone and wanted to go to the library to return some books that I borrowed. There was no bad feeling in my mind. Everything was so perfectly fine. Liam was already in his Spanish class and I was about to mine, but I planned to go to the library first.
However, my heart beat so fast when I saw Julie walked and passed me by. I couldn't change my sight on her and I began to walk backwards. That's when the disaster began.
I heard someone yelling as I was startled because I was bumped into someone and all my books I carried fell. I turned around and saw his hostile eyes darted to me. He pushed me quickly and I was slammed to the locker. I do jogging most in the morning and sometimes I do exercise in the gym but he is a football player, the roughest and most brutal sport ever exists in high school. That proves he is stronger than me.
"Are you losing your eyes, Fag?" he shouted. His wrathful eyes were scaring me a lot.
"So-sorry...I...d-don't..." I stuttered and couldn't finish my sentence.
He pulled my collar and our faces were some inches apart when he growled at me. Then he pushed me until I fell onto the floor. I knew he would kick me and I just curled down to protect my front side body.
But in fact, he didn't. He just laughed with his two friends and left. I looked up and noticed that he had already gone. No one dared to help me, or even offering a hand for me to stand. I didn't blame anyone. I won't dare also if I saw someone being bullied. Being pushed around like that was my daily dosage.
I realized that someone was standing behind me. I looked up and Edward Roosevelt, Alex's friend, was staring at me. I was shaking up again but it wasn't like what I thought it to be.
He offered me his hand. I was shocked. All this time, I thought Edward was never doing the bullying thing. He just laughed behind the bad guys and just did nothing. He wasn't with Alex previously.
I took his hand and got up, looking at him in confusion. He patted my shoulder and said, "Be careful when you walk, Nerdy," he advised and walked away. Wow, I didn't believe that he was so nice to me. Why suddenly I feel like I am admiring him, I thought. But I quickly ignored that. I took my scattered book, inhaled a deep breath, and continued to walk.
I thought that my day was going to be fine for the rest after. Perhaps that was just my unlucky day. Yeah, a school day for me is hell. Being shoved and pushed around is my everyday meal. When I see those jocks, it is like I am seeing a reaper. Yes, not all of them. I just noticed that Edward was not one of them. He may be Alex's friend, but he is nothing like him.
It was Liam and I coincidentally was with him. He bumped into one of those heartless jocks, Vincent. He has a big figure and a scary face. Edward and Alex were also there. I was very scared when Alex said I tried to mess up with him twice. I wanted to say it wasn't me. It was Liam, but it couldn't be helped that I would be dragged into that mess. Edward, of course, couldn't do anything.
Vincent pulled Liam's collar and shouted in front of his face, spitting that disgusting saliva all over his face while he yelled. He accused Liam for wanting to touch him because he was gay.
I know Liam. Vincent is obviously not his type. Do you want to know what type does he like? He said me! I just replied him with a 'hahaha'.
Stop talking about that and back with what happened to us. One word. Misery!
