The phone call

After that night, my mother never came back. She never sent postcards, suvnears or even think of talking to us. It has been 4 years now. The girls and I are already 16 years old. We still think about our mother every day but its not the same. We see pictures of her everyday, still hung up on the wall like she never left. Madison has tried tracking her down but what she said that raining night was a bit fuzzy to us amd it was too dificult for her to continue.  I remember that my mother, how beautiful she once was, I wondered if she was still polite and gentle as she was before she left. I never blamed her for leaving anyways, her life here was not that perfect like she pulled it off as. Her mother, Grandma Joy died while giving birth to my mother, so my grandfather, Buford blamed her for Joy's death. Buford was a abusive man. Everyday after school before he went to work he would beat my mother. So, all she wanted to do was get away from him and when the triplets were born, (Gabriella, Adaylynn and Madison) she left and moved across the city. She still always thought that he was still roaming around and smothering her.  When my mother was 16 she moved in with her grandparents. To get all she could away from him, but after a couple of months her grandparents passed away from leukemia in there blood line. My mother had to move back in with Buford. Buford passed away a couple months ago, I wonder if she knows he is gone. Would she come back to us? Would she ever see us again? My thoughts were interrupted by my dad. He was.... wait was he taking down the pictures of mom!! I sat straight up in my grey chair and walked toward him. My eyes glaring at him, as I approached him. His gray/brownish hair, was slick back  in his uniform hat and I noticed that his crystal blue eyes, was looking for something. "Hey dad... what are u looking for" Madison asked. I guess I had not realized she was standing across the room watching him like I was. He waited a second before answering. "Your mom called me". He said but his voice sounded so dead it was strange. I looked at Madison and her eyes sparkled, like they were diamonds. "Really u talked to mom"!! Madison said. "Madison, I don't think it was a good thing" I said worried and confused like. "She wants you guys, and Adaylynn. "Us???" I said. "Why"?. "She says she misses you guys" he said. "Really, after four years of her abandoning us, now she wants us?" I said angry! "Calm down Gabriella, she said she just needed some space, from everything?" My father explained. " BUT I'M NOT GOING TO LET HER TAKE YOU GUYS, SHE DOES NOT DESERVE U THREE!!" My father  said angryly.  I did not even say anything. I just walked out of the hallway, even though I still had no idea what he was looking for. It was not fair, if I had a choice would I go and see my mother? No, she abandoned me and  my sisters for four years!! But, maybe she needed some space like my father said. It was all too confusing for me to think of even though it was not my dad's choice if we see our mother or not. I wanted to call my mother so badly, I needed a explanation. "Maddy, Gab!!" Adaylynn called. As we stepped into her room, she had her basketball in one hand and her blue phone in the other. Her face red and sweety from the amount of practice she had done today. She through the basketball to me, and surprisingly I cault it. Madison and I sat beside her on her bed. Confused on what she was doing, I finally asked. "What the he'll are u doing"?. "Calling mom is what I'm doing"! She responded quickly and sudden. "Mom,your calling mom, after all of the years she left and abandoned-.. Adaylynn ignored me and began on saying. "Atleast we will get an examination from her". I nodded even though I was still bad at her for cutting me off. "Hello?" Adaylynn said in a quiet voice. "Hello, who is this, if I may ask?" Said the person on the end of the phone. "This is Gabriella, Adaylynn and Madison, Is this Alice"? I asked. "Oh, girls it's you.... I have missed you three- Madison intrupted her, "We need a explanation mother". "I understand, see that night of my promotion I was going to send u guys things and come visit, but your father said if I ever came back within 4 years he would of killed me"! We went silent for a second, the until I said "We will call u back". I hung up and ran down stairs to my father, who was watching the news like always. "Did u or did u not tell our mother that she could not come see us for 4 years and if she did you would of killed her?!" Hey turned his head and stared at me like I told his biggest secret to the whole world. "Well... girls..."

So.... sorry... cliff hanger but oh well. I don't a certain  day that I will upload a new chapter  but I know i will have a chapter atleast once a week. The next chapter will probably be uploaded Friday or Saturday!!
