Chapter One

Chapter One: Once Again

Ring! Ring! Ring! "Ahhhh you stupid alarm clock." I sighed as I tried to shut my alarm clock off but it was broken. "Shut that damn thing off bitch." My uncle Steve shouted from where he had previously woken up from, the couch.

Like usual he comes home drunk and passes out on the couch.

"I'm trying but it wont work!" I yelled back. "What you just say to me." He screamed furiously. "Don't get smart with that mouth of yours you what your punishment was last time." I stayed quiet avoiding all eye contact with him. "Look at me when I'm talking to you bitch!"

He pulled my up by my hair to reach his eyes. "Do you understand me." I stayed quiet knowing what would happen next or worse. He threw me on the floor causing me to get a bloody nose, knelt down and slapped me across the face I winced because it had been over the bruise that I had gotten from him a couple days ago. Once again I'd be covering up my bruises with my concealer.

After putting my makeup on and brushing my long golden hair I put on my school uniform. I hate wearing it because it makes me feel so preppy when I'm far from it.

The only reason I go to one of the most expensive private schools is because of my grandmother who is filthy rich. I honestly don't know how she got all that money considering she's been in and out the hospital have her life. She has two types of cancer breast cancer and pancreatic cancer. Thats the only reason I don't live with her. She sends me a weekly paycheck of $500. Shes the only reason that I can actually make it by and get what ever I want.

I grabbed my backpack car keys and I was on my way to school. Another day of torture begins now.
