Jared's P.O.V
Please Elizabeth please. "Hey Jared I miss you." Finally.
"Elizabeth we need to talk." She's going to know something's up. I called her Elizabeth instead of Liz.
"Jared babe. What's wrong?" Worry filled her voice.
"I got a note from your kidnapper today." I'm going to tell her the truth.
"Jared. What. Did. It. Say." She turned angry that's just amazingly great.
"I'm apart of his little game and I can only save myself. To be honest it scared me. I felt like I was going to crawl up and cry. I don't want to be in 'a game'."
"Okay. Call me if anything else pops up." She sighed. "Love you" and before I could even reply she hung up. She didn't even ask if I was okay. Wow.
I walked back to bed four to find a note.
Dear Jared.
There will be a couple games I will place you in. The first one is tomorrow at the bar. I'll give you the rest but for now you must do as I say or Elizabeth gets her head chopped off. You will not tell Liz about anymore notes. And you will write down your number and take it out front. You will place it in he flower put and go back inside.
Anonymous.
I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote down my number along with my email. I also wrote down my work hours. I don't know why all he did but I feel like he wants to see if I'm going to do whatever I can to stay alive and keep Elizabeth alive as well.
I walked out and made my way to the only flower pot in the garden. I put down the note. Took a sharp breath in and went inside. Once inside I let go of the breath I never knew I was holding.
Anonymous P.O.V
I saw him walk inside and I waited for a couple minutes. I walked over to the flower pot and reached inside. I found a note with the name Jared on it. Before I even attempted to read it I wanted to get it to my boss. Just so people don't know I call him S.
I got in my car and drove to the lake house. I looked down to notice I need gas. I stopped at a mini mart and went in to prepay. I grabbed something to drink and a Green Monster for S.
I looked around and decided to get him cigarettes and most importantly a lighter. Seeing if I need anything else I slowly look around to notice a lovely young women all by herself.
I quickly paid and pumped my gas as quickly as possible. I called S hoping he would answer.
"Yes Eli?" I forgot to mention my name is Eli. I'm 22 and S found me on the streets. He decided to take me in as long as I did what he said and did it when he told me to.
"Do we need another young women for you. She can please you and then we kill her. I know how long it has been since your wife has died. It's time to get back on the streets."
"Yes Eli that would be delightful. I won't kill her until she disobeys me. Or cheats on me. I may just let her stay."
"Okay Boss. Be their as soon as possible." With that he hung up. One thing I learned is to never and I repeat NEVER call S by S. If it's his worker you call him boss at all costs. Except when you try to be on his good day and then he gives you a day off.
I saw the women walking up to her car and saw she was crying.
"Hey miss. What's wrong?" She looked at me and smiled.
