Authors Note.!
New character from Liz's childhood. Her name is Melinda. Have a good time.
Melinda's P.O.V
Why was Liz here. I haven't seen her in a while. She just left her family behind. Let me explain. My name is Melinda. I was best friends with Liz's sister Grace. Well until she disappeared.
If somebody kidnapped her and or just killed her then I don't know who it could be. She had a boyfriend that proposed she said yes. She had a job. I was her only friend though. Who could kill such a sweet girl?
She defiantly didn't kill herself though. She didn't hate herself. Didn't have and medical problems. Her list was clear. It makes me mad. I hope she is still alive. If the cops give up I'm making this my case.
Liz's P.O.V
We was in the living room of my old house. It was really scary. All the memories and the pain was still here.
"We need to stay together just in case." Wow, for once Ben was right.
"I agree." Ashley and I said at the same time. We got flashlights and went to my old bedroom first. I don't know why.
I looked around and it was dusty. Everything still looked the same I honestly don't know why but I wanna just lock my self out of the room. This place had bad memories. It sucks.
I went somewhere else without them noticing. Ugh
I went to my parents room. I brushed my fingertips across the bed. I shivered as memories came back.
I walked to the dresser and taped in a code. My moms closet opened up and I went inside. I grabbed the photo albums and smiled. My parents wern't the worst. At least we had so good memories.
I walked back out and heard a scream.
I ran to my bedroom and saw Ashley on the floor. She was in fear. She had blood coming from her stomach.
"What the hell happened!" I screamed.
Joe answered. "She opened up your closet and a bullet came out with a note."
I snickered. "Well genius did you check the note?"
"Um not yet."
"Sometimes I wonder why your a cop Joe." I walked over to the note and picked it up. this is what it said.
'Let's play a game. I give you clues little at a time and then you find out. But you may never know who I am.'
Of course. I hate people. I ran out and sit down on my front door step. Only to see Melinda walking towards me. Great.
