THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT from before has been desperately trying to comfort the passengers for the last couple minutes, but anyone can see the hope leaving her eyes as the plane continues to swerve and veer.
"It's not too late, you know," the girl sitting next to me says, her bright blue eyes shining with unshed tears.
"Not too late for what—?" my question is cut off as the plane dips once again and everyone inside screams, including me.
"Everyone, remain calm!" the flight attendant yells over the chaos, people's heads turning rapidly as I try and come to terms with the fact that we only have five minutes left.
Five minutes.
