Andy PoV

Ok... so I'm starting to freak out. It's apparently lent and we were going out on a Friday to a barbecue place. Turns out he religious and meat in lent is a big "no-no." Instead were going to the movies.

Normally this would be fine, but honestly I'm trying to decide whether to go with my real choice a.k.a. Finding Dory or the normal choice you'd expect from a girl- La La Land.

I'd pick Finding Dory in a heart beat, but I'm worried about weirding him out with my "fan girl" side.

Maybe I could get him to choose...

"Day dreaming again Miss Bridgeview? " mis McIver said wringing her hands together in that annoying way of hers. Her graying brown hair twirled about in wisps and her red glasses sat perched on the bridge of her witch like nose.

"No ma'am," I said politely resisting the urge to  punch her and her judgmental brown eyes across the room.

"Well, then maybe you'd like to repeat the question," she said coldly.

"Um, would you please repeat the question?" I asked politely, knowing her answer already.

"Well, if you were paying attention to the class, you should already know the answer."

I scanned the room for my friends. They would save me if they could. Annie was busy scribbling in her notebook (not paying attention at all) Megan was across the room and trying to mouth the answer to me, but I'm a terrible lip reader, piper was asleep and drooling everywhere ( I  wish I could fall asleep, but sadly I'm in the front of the class) and hope and hunter were wasting away in math class unable to save me.

I'm screwed I thought miserably. Mrs. McIver heated me and would use anything, even something as trivial as this, to punish me.

I glanced around the room, my eyes praying for  someone to save me when I glanced at Anthony sitting two rows behind me.

46 he mouthed at me.

Thank god! I thought. I would marvel about the fact that he was looking at me later. For now, I had to save myself.

"46," i answered defiantly.

"Th... that's correct," she replied a bit taken aback by the fact that I got the answer right. She preceded to teach and I tried to pay attention- just in case- but I was slowly bored to death.

The bell rang and I was so startled I nearly jumped out of my skin. I was glad to get out of that class and I had science next a.k.a. the one class that doesn't put me asleep.

Anthony PoV

Anthony scampered out of class careful to avoid eye contact with Mrs. McIver and rushed  to catch up with Andy before she disappeared into science class.

He reached her just in time. "Andy," he said a bit tentative.

"Yeah?" She inquired whipping her head of long black hair in his direction.

"Well... I was wondering what movie you wanted to watch..."

She stopped as though to think about something that was troubling her. "Umm.." she finally began. "I guess... well.... this may sound a little childish, but I would really like to see... Finding Dory?" She ended with what seemed like a question.

Anthony let out a breathy laugh and Andy's face turned pink. "No, no," he reassured her. " that was more in relief 'cause honestly, that's what I wanted to see."

Andy laughed seeing the amusement in the situation. "Well then, I guess we can be insane together!"

Anthony laughed, waved good bye, and headed to math before a teacher could yell at them.

Maybe he wasn't going to make that big of a fool of himself. Maybe this wasn't going to be as much of an awkward disaster as he feared for himself.

Maybe he had a chance.

Anthony sat down in math smiling giddily. Chris and Megan walked arm in arm while giving him an inquisitive glance, but Anthony didn't care. He had something in common with Andrea Bridgeview.

Maybe he had a chance.

//sorry, this chapter is pretty bad, but whatever. I wanted to give you all something in apology for the - what three month wait. 😜
