"S-s-stop!"  Comes a weak, raspy feminine voice and the door shakes due to being hit weakly.

"Keep your focus on the fight," David grunts as he throws a punch at my face, forcing me to dodge to the side and pay attention to him.

"Who is she?" I ask as I kick him in the shin and send the heal of my hand into his face, making him fall to the ground with blood dripping down his nose.

"You have been practicing...."

"Tell me who she is before I cut you," I warn.  No innocent person should have to go through daily torture.  I'm sure he makes school a personal hell for this girl, like he does the few others who have not committed suicide yet.

"Ariana Drew.  Happy?"  I kick him in the ribs after I grab the keys from his pocket as I walk by for good measure, earning a grunt of pain from Dave who doesn't make any attempt to get up off of the floor.

"Now I am."  I carefully unlock the door and open it slowly.  "Hey, Ariana.  I put that asshole in his place...."  I trail off as my eyes land on a very underweight, pale girl covered in bruises, bandages, and scars.  Seemingly in a daze, she snaps out of it and struggles with shaking hands to throw her black, turtle neck sweater over her head and bust, which I can say is about a C cup and covered in a plain, beaten, black bra.

I shake my head of my rising thoughts and focus on the problem at hand.  "Need some help?"  She shakes her head rapidly and continues to struggle.

I sigh and decide to go against her wish, helping her pull the sweater around her body and fix it so it covers her bandages. It is supposed to be tight, but it fits loosely around her due to how skinny she is.  "Better?"  Hesitantly, the girl makes eye contact with me once more, and my bright blue eyes meet her dark green ones with beautiful flecks of gold now visible due to the door being fully open, allowing light into the dark room. She nods her head up and down slightly and I smile a little.  "Well, school is going to end any second, so why don't I wall you home?" I ask.  David is bound to be pissed so I can at least make sure he doesn't do anything to her on the way home.

"Y-y-you d-don't h-hav-" she immediately begins to protest and I interrupt her.

"Okay, shhh~" I say, not wanting her to strain her already raspy voice anymore. She lost her voice and it is clearly taking a lot of effort not to talk.  "I'm going to walk you home because I want to, okay?  And don't think you can get rid of me that easily," I speak with a smirk and hold my hand out for her.

Ignoring my hand, she grabs a big, baggy, black hoodie and stands up, using the wall to help support her wobbly legs.  She really must have been scared....

I walk behind her and take no effort to look over her head to notice that David is gone; and I thought I was short.  She has to be 5 feet and... 1 inch. Tops.  I am only 5 feet and 5 inches, which isn't exactly normal height for a guy in this school.  They are all like fucking basketball players....

I close the closet behind us and begin to follow her until she stops.  "What's wrong?"

"Y-you know... w-w-why did you d-d-"

"'Do that?'" I finish for her and she nods slowly in response.  "Well, he gets on my nerves.  Also, he is a dick.  He doesn't respect anybody."  Especially not me....  "I... I don't like to see people being hurt purposely by others, so I try to stop it."

"One guy can't change the world," comes an all-too-familiar voice and I spin around with a small smile on my lips.

"Hey, Sean."

"Hey, Jack.  Who is this?"

"No one for you," I snap as he begins to eye her up.  "Her name is Ariana.  Ariana Drew."
