Hey peeps! Hope you liked the last chapter! This is the next day as soon as the boys wake up. I have the first year's schedule above in a picture, but if you can't see it, it will be later in the chapter. I will be calling Vincent and Greg, Crabbe and Goyle from now on cause it's easier for me. Hope you enjoy this chapter! Now, on with it!

(Harry's POV)
I wake up the next morning and see the other boys still sleeping, even Draco. He's usually up before me. I get out of bed and get dressed before walking into the bathroom and grab a cup of water. I walk over to Draco's bed and quickly dump the water on him before moving out of the way. He startles awake, sputtering. He sees me standing back a ways and glares at me. I give him an innocent smile.
"Harry, why did you do that?" He asks, still glaring at me.
"To wake you up of course. It's the first day of classes Drake! Get out of bed!" I exclaim at him. He groans and looks around for a clock. He sees one by the door and groans again.
"Harry, it's 5:30 in the morning, why can't I sleep more?" He asks me.
"If you fall back to sleep, you'll be late for breakfast and then you won't get your timetable and will have to depend on me to know what class we have next. I probably won't tell you what class we have next, so get out of bed and we can hang out for an hour and a half." I tell him. He sits up and I sit back on my bed. I pull out my Hogwarts: A History book and flip to the pages that explain the classes.
First year students must take: Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, History of Magic, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Astronomy, and Herbology, classes that are mandatory throughout their first five years of magical education. First years, and only first years, are required to take flying, where they learn the basic commands to give their broomstick, as well as basic tricks and tips for riding. As most of the first years have probably never flown before arriving at Hogwarts School.
By the time I finish the paragraph, Draco is finished getting ready.
"Are you just going to read all day?" He asks me. I look up.
"Sorry, I was reading on first year classes." I say. I look at the clock and see that we have about 10 minutes until breakfast starts.
"We should head down." He says. I nod and look at the other boys. I look back at Draco and smirk. We run the the bathroom and I grab 2 cups of cold water and I splash them on Crabbe and Goyle while Draco splashes Blaise. They all startle awake like Draco did and sputter.
"Why the hell did you guys do that?" Blaise yells at us. I notice Draco backing up and I do the same.
"We had to wake you guys up, breakfast starts in about 8 minutes and you don't want to miss it. We're getting our timetables today." Draco says. I can tell that Draco and I are moving closer to the door. He looks behind us and bolts out the door with me following close behind. We rush out of the common room and quickly get to the Great Hall without getting caught, somehow. The entire way, we were laughing. We sat down at the Slytherin table and waited for the others. By the time they get down here, they're seething. As Draco and I are almost done, we finish eating, grab our timetables that Professor Snape passed out and rush out of the Great Hall before they get to where we were. We head back to the dorm to collect our bags and hurry to the Potions classroom for first period. Both Draco and I are laughing the entire time.
"Did you see how mad they were when we left the Great Hall? It was hilarious!" Draco exclaims as I nod.
"I know! I didn't think that they would get that mad!" I exclaim.
"Oh, when we were growing up, I always tried to scare Blaise awake and he always got mad at me, chasing me around the Manor. He's always been faster than me but because he had to get dressed today, he was a little slower." Draco explains. I nod in understanding. We stand outside just talking, getting to know each other more than we did during the last month. Professor Snape opens the door once nearly everyone got here. Draco drags me to one of the seats towards the front. Snape walks to the front and starts to take roll call. After he finished, he looked to the class.
"You are here to learn the subtle science and exact art of potionmaking. As there is little foolish wand-waving here, many of you will hardly believe this is magic. I don't expect you will really understand the beauty of the softly simmering cauldron with it's shimmering fumes, the delicate power of liquids that creep through human veins, bewitching the mind, ensnaring the senses.... I can teach you how to bottle fame, brew glory, even stopper death -- if you aren't as big a bunch of  dunderheads as I usually have to teach." He says. I gulp and look at Draco.
He doesn't look nervous so I shouldn't be either, right? I think. I calm down and stare at Snape.
"Weasley!" He suddenly says. I jump and I'm pretty sure that Draco did too.
"What would I get if I added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood?" Snape asks the redhead. I hide behind my hand and giggle. The answer is that they are the same thing, just with different names.
"I don't know, sir." The Weasle says. One of the Gryffindor girls raises her hand as high as she can without getting out of her chair. Snape sees me trying to hide my giggles.
"Mr. Potter, since you are obviously laughing at Mr. Weasley, what is the answer?" Snape asks. I compose myself.
"Nothing as they are the same thing, just as different names, sir." I tell him. He looks impressed.
"Very good, Mr. Potter. 10 points to Slytherin." He says. I look at Draco and he looks happy. The class goes by very quickly and before Draco and I leave, Snape calls us over to his desk.
"What's up, Uncle Sev?" Draco asks. I look at him with a confused look on my face.
"He's my godfather but I've always called him Uncle Sev." He explains to me. I nod and look back at Snape.
"You did very well in class today, Mr. Potter. Not only did you know all answers, or almost all answers, you humiliated the Gryffindors. And, may I say, you look just like your father. Except your eyes, they're your mother's, Lily's. Yes, I knew your parents in school. Your mother and I were great friends but your father, James, hated my guts, at least he did in first and second year. After that, we all got along. But I want you to know that I will help you know matter what. Ok, Harry?" He says, a very serious look in his eyes. I nod and he turns to Draco.
"Draco, you mother and father have contacted me to make sure you made it safely, both of you boys. I told them that you did and that you were both put into Slytherin." He says. Draco nods in thanks.
"Ok, off to your next class." Snape says. We nod and run to our next class, Herbology with the Ravenclaws. Afterwards, we head to lunch. Draco and I get there before any of the other first year Slytherin's. Blaise, Crabbe and Goyle all walk in and sit across from us. I nervously glance at Draco, who has the same expression.
"Are you guys still mad at us?" I ask quietly. They shake their heads.
"No, but we will get our revenge when you're not expecting it." Crabbe says. I gulp and turn to the food. After we eat, we head to Charms. Then we have Transfiguration. After that, we're free to go hang out. Draco and I head out to the lake. We don't sit right next to the water just in case Blaise, Crabbe and Goyle come and try to get their revenge.
"Ok, what do you want to do?" I ask him, facing him. He shrugs.
"I don't know, race? From here to that hut and back?" He asks. I look into the distance and see the hut. I nod.
"So to start, we both have to be touching the tree, with our hand, and we have to touch the side of the hut in order to come back. Ok?" I ask him. He nods in response. We get ready, I'm standing like someone who does running for money, muggle money, is standing behind the tree so my hand is touching it. Draco is just kneeling on one knee, and not even the entire way down.
"Three, two, one, go!" I say and we both take off. I gain up on him and pass him, touching the hut and rushing back to our tree, becoming nervous as I approach it. I look around, even in the tree, for the other three boys. I touch the tree and sit down. Draco slids next to me.
"Damn, Harry! That was fast!" He exclaims. I smirk and sit back against the tree. I notice that the sky is getting darker.
"We should start heading back. Dinner is probably about to start." I say. He nods as I stand up. I hold my hand out to help him up, which he gladly grabs. I pull him up and take off running towards the castle.
