I have recently been put into an Art class this trimester, and we have been doing exercises called zentangles. Last week, the first pattern we were taught was this one, made completely out of (mostly)straight lines overlapping. It was difficult for me in particular because I have very shaky hands that make straight lines even harder for me than most others, and I wanted the lines to curve into the middle by the time all the lines were about to meet one another, as you can probably see better in the picture above.
After my professor taught us this, I went home after all of my classes and filled an entire page in my sketch book of this in a teal ultra fine sharpie. And, to be honest, I'm sort of proud of it? It took three hours to finish the entire page, and when I finished the page my father said it looked like potato chips. Cx I hope you like it.
