Hanging the rope in front of me, my tears slowly drip down my cheeks. I smile, thinking about my happy memories with Ravi, back when everything was perfect. The fact that we loved is beautiful.
Putting on my smiling mask, I write a small note in case if someone finds me. "I feel so relieved now, please don't worry about me."
Letting the rope hang around my neck, I take one last breath, looking up at the ceiling. Smiling, I let myself fall. Promise me, that you'll be happy. This is my beautiful lie to you.

As soon as our home comes into view, I start breaking down. "All of these stupid lies.." Turning around, I run back to where Leo was. When I arrive, he's gone.
I kick the tree nearby in frustration, trying to think of where he would have gone.
Suddenly remembering his old office, I rush to that apartment building. Running up to the door, I look at the passcode lock. "Leo! Open the door!" I yell.
No answer. I hit the door in rage, "Please! It's me.." I try to guess his passcode since he isn't responding.
Soon, the door clicks and opens. The passcode was my birthday all along.. I rush inside the room and suddenly crumble to my knees. Seeing him hanging there..
Breaking down, I cry harshly as I scream out loud. My eyes drop onto a note on the table next to him. Reading the note, I throw it down on the floor. "This is all my fault." I yell, pulling my hair in anger. "Why couldn't we just be happy, even with the masks we had on?"
The note falls with the backside facing up. On the back there is another note, it reads, I'm a cowardly liar.
