Bruce - you work for a charity that he hosted a gala for. You had been chosen by company lottery to attend as the representative and when you went up on stage to collect the check from him, you just seemed to connect. A few days after you met he "accidentally" bumped into you outside your work and invited you to dinner at a really nice restaurant.

Dick - you're an artist out of Bludhaven who lives in your makeshift studio near him. One night when going out on patrol, he saw you in the studio, working on a painting, and he was intrigued with your work...and you. He looked in on you now and then, he got concerned when your window was dark for a while, so much so that he tracked you down, and while he wasn't happy you'd gone out of town for a funeral, he was glad you were okay. He really wanted to meet you so when he found out you would be featured in a gallery in Bludhaven, he made sure to secure an invitation. The rest is history.

Jason - you actually bumped into him when he was out of uniform at a coffee shop. You noticed him but he didn't seem to notice you much, or so you thought. That night, when someone attempted to mug you, the Red Hood responded immediately and pulled the guy off of you. After that, you started running into Jason more and more often in the day, and at night sometimes you would swear you'd hear someone following you, but would never see anyone. Eventually, one time when you ran into Jason during the day, you jokingly said you guys should actually plan a meet up for once, and he took you up on it.

Tim - you worked at the library he frequented when he wanted to do some hard research. You had seen each other several times, had little conversations here and there, but nothing more for a while. Not until one night in particular...he was the last patron out, right before you locked up, and someone attempted to mug you in the parking lot. He hadn't left yet and heard you scream and so he ran over and took care of the mugger for you. You were so thankful, you said you wanted to repay him some way. He kept refusing but you insisted and you eventually ended up going to a late night diner for some coffee and pie. You ended up exchanging phone numbers and it went from there.
