The Beach House

Ch. 2

I made it to Lori's house and I saw that Jessica and Kasi are already there. Lori and I told Jessica and Kasi about what our parents did for us with the house and needless to say that they are very excited. We all went inside Lori's mom van, so we can head to the airport. We were all excited for our trip. We were singing and dancing in the car while Lori's mom rolled her eyes and tried her best to ignore our horrible singing but couldn't help but laugh here and there.

We finally made it to the airport at 5:06. We had an hour till our flight takes off, we went toward our gate talking and laughing. I saw couple of guys staring at us, and I see Lori winking at them and walk away. Lori is such a tease.

Lori is beautiful; most guys try to get with her first then any of us other. She is mix with Philippine and white. Her skin tans makes her look exotic.

Jessica is our lovely blonde one in our group with blue eyes. But don't let that pretty face fool you. She is very hard to handle and intimidating. Her parents taught her to always be independent and she followed her parent's way.

Kasi is average height girl with long wavy brown hair with beautiful blue eyes. The only problem with her is that she is very insecure. She has huge breast and of course that is the first thing want from her. But Kasi is a very reserve girl. She is very shy when you first meet her and it take awhile to break her wall but in time she is the funniest girl you will ever meet.

Then there is me, brown hair brown eyes average body. Nothing special, but my mother always told me a girl best accessories is her smile. And I smile big every day to the point where people think it's creepy. But I love to smile, I believe it help me to look at the world in a better view.

We are all very different girls, but we all love chocolate and love to shop. We had been friends since 4th grade when I moved to Dallas TX. They weren't as close till I got there and brought this group together. These were my girls that knew every bit of me, and same to them from me.

"Are you ladies ready for Malibu?" Jessica asked.

"Hell yes!" Lori yells.

A smirk crept up my face from the excitement from my friends. Kasi shook her head but with a small smile. We went to give our luggage to the drop off. I saw Kasi struggling, so I helped her with one of her suitcase but I dropped it because how heavy it was.

"Geez Kasi, are there stones in your suitcase?"

She snorts, "No!"

I saw Lori coming to help but just like me, she lost the grip because of its weight. "Oh my gosh, Kasi are there books in here?"

I saw Kasi looking down and her cheeks turn a little pink. We all look at her wide eyes.

"Seriously? Are you planning to read during this whole trip?" Lori asks

"No, but just in case I'm bored, or while I'm tanning. You know just to keep me entertain just in case." She defends herself.

"Guys, stop. Let her have her books. But Kasi, you are not allowed to be bored on this trip." Jessica tells us.

"Flight to Malibu in Gate 5G will be deporting in 15 minutes."

The intercom tells us that our flight will be ready. We head towards the direction of our gate and board the plane. In 20 minutes the planes starts to take off. I look over at Lori who is sitting next to me but I saw her flirting with a boy across from her. Well there goes my plane partner. I took out the headphones in my purse and plug it into my phone and relax listening to my music. My eye starts to drift down after 6 songs.

"Alexis. Alexis! Wake up!" I heard someone telling as she nudges me.

I slowly open my eyes. I saw people gathering their things and start to walk off the plane. Are we here?

"Come on guys. Hurry up!" Lori yells out.

I got my bag and start to head out. We got off the airplane and I turn to see Jessica and Lori dancing. Kasi come next to me and shaking her in embarrassment. I burst out laughing at the scene, my friends are the best.

"So where is the house?" Jessica asked me.

"Oh yeah." I grab the white envelope my parents gave me with the key and took out the small paper that tells us the address. "156 Beach Wave Dr." I tell her.

"Cool, let's get our stuff and catch a cab to get there."
