I didn't wanted to go to school and see Montgomery after what he said. Justin was the first one of the group who noticed when my brother and I walked into the school.
"Hailey hey!" He almost yelled and jogged towards me leaving his friends looking at the three of us. "I'll see you later" Tyler told me as soon as Justin stood in front of me and with that he walked away.
"Jeff told me that you knew, sorry that it has to be that way" Justin sighed and I nodded, "I just don't get why he didn't face me, he asked if I maybe wanted to go on a date sometimes so I don't get it" I told Justin and my eyes locked with Montgomery for a second.
"He isn't worth it Hailey, the boy doesn't know what he is missing out" I smiled and kissed Justin his cheek, "thank you for being nice to me" I mumbled and a smile appeared on his face. "Can I kiss you?" He mumbled, "I think you can" I wrapped my arms around his neck when his lips met mine.
The kiss felt good, it was like we were the only ones there.
When Justin pulled back to catch some breath the bell rang. In the corner of my eye I saw Justin his friends looking at the two of us but the smile on Justin his face was priceless.
My first break was the moment that everything turned shit again. I tried to catch my breath while I was sitting in my chair. "Wow Hailey is everything okay?" Clay looked at me and I nodded, "what happened?" Hannah asked with a little smile on her face, "gym" I mumbled and the two of them laughed.
"So you en Justin?" Jeff asked me while he ate his apple, "as in Justin Foley?" Sam asked immediately, "yes we just kissed, I don't know what he wants" I laughed and Hannah and Clay looked at each other for a second.
"Do you like him?" Mia asked and looked at the group of boys for a second, "I don't know, after the thing with Montgomery I don't know what I want and how Justin is" I mumbled and Jeff grabbed my hand, "hey listen, if he hurts you I will kick his ass, Montgomery is avoiding me so I can't kick his" Jeff mumbled and I gave him a smile.
"But you and Jeff? What about that?" Mia asked me while we walked to class, "we are friends, best friends. I don't like him in that way" I laughed and stopped in my track while my eyes locked with Montgomery his eyes. "Hailey, wait" Montgomery yelled across the hall while I turned around and walked away.
"Hold on cowboy" Mia said while she stopped Montgomery, "you already fucked up so don't try to make things better. When Jeff sees you with her he will murder your ass" Mia told the taller boy, "listen, you don't know what happened" Montgomery told her and she rolled her eyes, "I do know, so leave her alone. You hurt her and I don't know what you want to say but if you want to do it than do it in a special way" Mia told him and walked away.
He stood there for a few minutes while some school kids walked past him, some bumped into him but he didn't bother, he stayed quite and looked at the place were I left after the kids went back into their classroom someone grabbed his shoulder, "Monty?" Alex his voice snapped him back to reality.
"What do you need Alex?" Montgomery snapped and Alex rolled his eyes, "did you really fuck this up? You had a change to date a normal girl and like that she is gone" Alex mumbled and Montgomery rolled his eyes, "you know all about it" Montgomery laughed. "Do you really want to do this Alex? Because if you keep doing your smart talk I will fight you" Montgomery told him and Alex rolled his eyes. "And do you think that you will get her back by kicking my ass?" Alex laughed and walked away.
