Run Away

  Reev's POV


Ah! So tired!! Seriously. It was so tiring to keep working. Like how did this guy manage? I turned the key in the lock to the apartment and opened the door. Fai will be at her cafe now. Good thing. I will just rest a while. I plopped down on the sofa and literally passed out the moment I hit the couch.

A few moments later I was woken by a violent shaking. What is this? Earthquake? I opened only my right eye. I used to do it to save energy.

Whaa! Why is Fai even here? I groaned and turned around burying my face in the couch. So tired...

"Go away..." I muttered into the pillow. Ah! This girl is a pain in the neck...


Fai's POV

I am finally seeing this girl after 2 weeks. I was so worried and look at her, snoring on the sofa , lying half on the floor. I thought I would ask her to go to her room and sleep properly and she is cursing me. What the hell.
" I won't go away, you troublesome girl." I say.

" Leave me alone. I am no mood in talking."

" Leave you alone? ! I am the one who is left alone. I don't know where you go. I don't actually know who you are . Everyday I have to be cautious about where I go ...god knows who will attck me."
"I shouldn't have came to live with you Reev . You are not the person I used to know."
"Okay then you can walk out. I don't mind. I will have less trouble since I don't have to worry about you then!" Reev backfired at me.

That really broke my heart. She looked so different. Her eyes were baggy and had dark circles. She had a frustrated attitude.

" Fine! I am leaving." I snorted.

"Who ...car..e.." I heard her faint voice as I turned towards my room to collect my things.

'Thud!' Surprised by the sound I turned around to find Reev collapsed on the floor.

" Reev-chan !!"

Oh god what happened to her? I couch myself beside her on the floor .

"Reev...!! Are you okay." She didn't seemed to hear me.
I need to do something. Call the doctor or take her to hospital. I hurry towards the phone and dial the emergency number for an ambulance.

Within 10 minutes the ambulance arrives and drives us to the city hospital. Mean while Reev continued to remain unconscious. The doctor on the ambulance told that its because she hadn't got rest at all from many days. Her immunity might have gone weak too.

Fai: We arrive at the hospital and Reev is shifted to the general ward on 3 rd floor. I am really worried about her. I don't like this thing about her. She never takes care of herself and then lands in trouble like this.

I wait outside as a nurse and a doctor with blonde hair, Mr. Keche rush inside the room to check Reev and nurse her. After 15 minutes the doctor comes out and informs me that she is okay now but they need to put her on some meds for her weakened immunity and she requires a lot of rest. He also tells me to fill some form and get some meds he prescribed.

I walk inside the room to find Reev in a semi- conscious state, lying triedly on the bed.

The nurse applys an injection and tells me that she will come again after 2 hours for the next dose and if I require something I should just press the bell. I thank her and she leaves

I sit besides Reev on a stool.
" I am sorry..." Reev murmurs.

" look what have you done to yourself. Be sorry to yourself. " I say.

" I think you were right. I involved you in this." She apologises.

" its okay. We are besties. Now take rest . We will talk about this later. I need to do some hospital formalities. "
With that Reev goes to sleep and I walk out of the room.

Who is this person? Not the doctor working on Reev's case. I hurry to the end of the corridor in Reev's room and flung open the door. The person gets startled and freezes at his position. He has a syringe in his hand and a small bottle like the ones used in hospitals.
He looks directly in my eyes. His eye colour his strange yet mesmerising.

" Who are you?" I demand.

" What type of question is this? I am doctor. Here to give your friend her dose." he says in low tone.

"She just received her dose and shouldn't be nursed again before an hour. " I clear. Then it strikes me who that person might me.

" Reev ..!! Get up!!" I shout loudly, then realising my voice won't cross the sound proof doors.

Reev jerks up on hearing my scream. And tries to figure out whats going on amidst the dizziness of the meds.


Reev's POV


I opened my eyes to see some guy with mystic green eyes in front of me. Who is he??? I cannot move but I use all my strength to kick him off me.

"FAI! You have to fight him!" I scream.

She looked terrified. Oh well. It was her first time against an intruder where she had to fight.

"Push the trolley!" I instructed her. She quickly reached out to the trolley on which my medicines were kept and pushed it towards him. He fell over. I kept instructing her and she was fighting. Her moves ain't perfect but well,will do. I was actually having fun doing this. But we couldn't keep going for long. At last she kicked him out of breath. When he was stumbling around and trying to catch his breath, I struggled landlines out of bed. Gah! What a timing to be ill!

"Come on Fai! To the parking lot!"

We ran to the parking lot, locking the door behind us.

"But we don't have a car!"

"Do you have a hairpin?"

"Yeah."

"Then we have a car!"

"What!!??"

There! We have reached the parking lot.

"Fai! Give me the pin! Quick!"

She fumbled through her hair and gave me the pin. I sat on the ground. My legs can't make me stand. I put the pin in the lock of a car. Heck! Imma steal this for now!

"Done! Now get in the driving seat, girl~"

"What!? Me? I don't know how to drive!"

"Duh! I will instruct! Get it now!"

She got into the driver seat fumbling as I leaned over her fiddling with the pin inside the key slot. The car hummed to life.

"There! Now lets go- Shit! Shit! Shit! He is here! Quick quick! We need to go fast!"

Next what happened was a death drive or a road trip through hell. Or well...we were the hell for everyone. Never. Ever. Shall I let Fai drive again!

For now we returned to our apartment and took some food. I chopped down on some chocolates. Nom nom. Need energy to drive. We left the swollen car on the road and took my car. I, of course, drove. I can't let Fai destroy my babyyyyy!

I blindfolded her as soon as we were seated. Couldn't let her know the way. We reached his place soon. I stood at the gate saying the passwords in Arabic.
