XVB: CORE

275 Alphys told me to head to the CORE,

the powerhouse of the underground.

The CORE lies after the MTT-Resort.

I went there, continuing my journey.

276 There were three pathways in ahead.

The CORE seemed to be like a labyrinth.

Reaching the place, Alphys called up.

"I think, try heading left." She said.

277 I went to the west.

Two monsters blocked my way,

a Madjick, and another Madjick.

I can neither spare, nor flee. I battled.

278 The stronger monsters began shooting me strong magic.

Their magic spells were full of prayers, and sorcery.

Epic monsters of the underground,

tougher than the minor ones!

279 Sparing the monsters, I moved on.

I stopped at the puzzle ahead of me.

I called Alphys for help.

But she had made a mistake.

280 "The lasers will come in this order: Orange, Orange, and Blue."

That's what she said.

Flipping the switch, the lasers came the other way.

Damaged and hurt, she apologized.

281 I moved north, the next region was tricky.

There were multiple pathways ahead.

Saw a golden star, saved my progress,

then I tried to move on each trail.

282 I went to the uppermost region.

Inside a shiny trash can is a wonderful thing:

A Glamburger!

I took it, and put it in my inventory.

283 After I've gone through many 'trial-and-errors',

I've come into a dark blue bridge.

On my first few steps, two monsters attacked me:

A Final Froggit and a Whimsalot.

284 These nightmares began shooting agonizing magic attacks to me.

I mystified the Froggit, at the same way

I consoled and prayed to the Whimsalot.

Contented, I spared them.

285 Moving on, another pair confronted me in:

A Knight Knight and another Madjick.

I sung and hummed, making Knight Knight sleep.

I stared at the Madjick, mystified.

286 Sparing them, I went through.

A final batch of stronger monsters appeared:

A Final Froggit, an Astigmatism, and a Whimsalot.

What a nightmare!

287 Doing the same procedure, I mystified the Froggit,

I didn't pick on the Astigmatism,

and I consoled and prayed to the Whimsalot.

Finally, I was able to spare them all.

288 At the end of the bridge is an obvious switch.

Flipping it, a new region went open.

I went to the new region.

I made it through the end of the CORE.
