"Chorong-ah, are you okay?" Jimin asked while helping Chorong stand up. "Yeah, I'm fine, just a headache" Chorong answered weakly.
"Can I help you with that?" Jimin asked. Chorong shook her head "no, it's alright. I just need to rest". Jimin nodded "I'll walk you home then".
Jimin helped Chorong stand and he put her arm around him to help her stand. Jimin walked her home and while walking, he asked "so, how was your day?". Chorong scoffed "terrible, I hate him". Jimin faked a cough "hate who exactly?".
"I hate Taehyung, he told me he liked me but when I looked through his phone, he was telling what he told me to another girl. That jerk" Chorong was releasing her anger for Taehyung on Jimin.
Jimin stayed silent, he was not very experienced with female emotions and here he was, hearing Chorong complain so much. "I'm sorry if I'm sounding like a whiny baby right now" Chorong apologized. "No, it's alright. You need to let it out right? Go ahead, I won't stop you" Jimin said, reassuring her.
Chorong's mom told her to visit the church so whatever sickness she has can go away with her prayers. As much as she didn't like it, she had to go, even though she knew taehyung would be there.
"Chorong-ah!" Jimin called out to Chorong. "Oh, Jimin, what are you doing here?" Chorong asked. "The question is, what are YOU doing here. You know Taehyung is always here" Jimin said with a confused face. "I know, but I needed to come say my prayers because my mom told me to" answered Chorong.
Jimin nodded "okay then, but just so you won't have a breakdown, I'll go with you, as long as Taehyung wouldn't disturb you". Chorong smiled at Jimin as they walked into the church.
Jimin stayed with Chorong, became his human diary, stayed with her when she cried, wiped her tears, and let Chorong show him her true side.
Chorong found him very sweet, very kind, for being there for her but as he did that, her heart kept beating faster with him around.
Chorong took a walk in the park and found Jimin sitting alone, facing a lake. Chorong smiled and tapped his shoulder when she was close enough. Jimin looked over his shoulder and smiled "Hi Chorong".
Chorong knew it was time to confess, so she sat beside him and readied her heart.
"Jimin-ah" she said. "Hm?" he looked at her. "Thanks for always being by my side, I really appreciate it. You've been kinder than any other person I've ever met. Not even my friends have seen me cry that much" Chorong was speaking wholeheartedly.
Jimin listened and Chorong sighed "I really like you Jimin, more than just a friend. My heart always starts to race when you're by my side". Chorong confessed and Jimin sighed "I'm sorry Chorong, but I only saw you as a friend. I knew no one else would come and let you cry on their shoulder but I let you do it. I'm sorry if you got the wrong idea".
Jimin stood up and walked away, as he walked, tears formed in Chorong's eyes and when he was finally out of sight. She cried her heart out. What's worse, is her chest felt a sudden pain, the kind of pain that you want to tear your heart out.
A light flashed before her eyes and she heard a voice "you wanna keep playing this game? More heartbreaks, and you'll have nothing left to break".
Her vision went back to normal and she continued crying, her day was getting even worse because it started to rain. The sky was crying with her and she didn't mind. She'll let the sky release their feelings to her like she did to Jimin.
When Chorong was already soaking wet, she stood up and walked on the sidewalk while freezing in the rain and staring at her feet. There were no emotions in her eyes, her emotions left when she cried so she cried her emotions out.
"No more heartbreaks, no more heartbreaks" she kept repeating those words when rain stopped pouring on her. She looked up and found an umbrella above her. She looked at who was holding it and it was Jungkook, Jimin's friend.
"Why are you walking in the rain?" Jungkook asked her with a smile on his face. Chorong still stared at him emotionless and kept walking, not caring about how wet she'll get.
"Hey! Wait up!" Jungkook was able to keep up with her and they continued to walk. Chorong ignored Jungkook for two reasons , she wasn't in the mood, and she can't risk her heart getting broken even more.
"Chorong, aren't you going to say anything to me?" he asked her and she ignored him until she was in front of her house. "Thanks Jungkook" was all she said and she walked away from him with nothing else to say. "You're welcome Chorong!" he said to her and he walked away from her house until he was out of sight.
Chorong sighed "No more heartbreak, No more curse, Undo this for goodness sake before it gets worse" she chanted. She may be no witch but some chants and spells usually work for mere mortals. "No more heartbreaks" she last said and closed her door.
