The sound of something rhythmically beeping woke me from my slumber. Struggling to open my eyes, I listened around trying to figure out where I was. Only hearing quiet voices, I lifted my hand and forced my eyes open. Bad idea, I groaned to myself. I slowly opened my eyes again, letting them get used to the bright light above me.
"Selena, honey? Do you know where you are?" Someone with a high pitched voice asked me as she came into my vision. I looked around, realising where I am.
"I'm in a hospital, why am I in a hospital?"I questioned, not remembering any events that recently happened. The nurse frowned at me, before writing on her board.
"You were in an accident, honey. You were lucky you survived." I slightly began to panic, why the hell was I in an accident? She tried to calm me down by asking me other questions to distract me. Eventually, another doctor walked in. He was kind of cute. "Selena do you know anyone by the name of Simon Minter?" I nodded my head, the name sounded very familiar. "Okay, I'll send him and his friends in." I smiled at the doctor before he and the nurse left. A knock was heard on the door before seven boys began to flood through the door and into my room. I looked at them weirdly. A boy who was really tall and lanky rushed towards me, instantly taking my hand in his.
"Selena, I'm so sorry. This is all my fault. Are you okay?" He spoke so quick I barely understood what he said.
"I'm fine, I guess. But, um, who are you?" The look in his eyes broke my heart, he looked so hurt. The nurse from earlier came back, announcing herself as she did so.
"I'm sorry to say, but Selena has Selective Amnesia. She will onlyremember selective parts of any events that occurred in a defined period of time" The nurse apologetically smiled before leaving. I was shocked, was the accident I was in that bad? Deciding to not bother thinking about the accident, I smiled at the boys.
"Introductions are in an order, don't you think?" I laughed quietly.
