Jacob's POV
"W- What do you mean she's gone?" I asked her, trying my best not to stutter.
"I mean she's literally gone, she disappeared. The doctor said that in the morning, they couldn't find her in her bed and that she left her belongings behind." Emily answered in a sad tone.
"So, she just left?" I asked, curious at why Logan would run away in the first place.
"Yes, the police are beginning a search for her right now," As she said that, she put her head in her hand.
"Mrs, um I never got your last name,"
"It's Field. Emily Field."
"Ok Mrs. Field, I assure you that Logan is ok and that she will come back. She just needs a little time to herself right now." I said, patting her back. As I got up to leave, she gave me a hug which was so sudden that at first I didn't hug her back.
"Thank you, Jacob,"
"Yeah, anytime," I said as I walked out the door.
As I skated home, I suddenly became angry at myself. "Why are you so stupid Jacob! You're such a fucking dumbass treating a girl like that!" When I arrived home, I threw my backpack on the floor and ran upstairs to my room. "Logan, wherever your are, please come home. I promise I will never let another person treat you like shit ever again,"...

Sorry for this crappy chapter that I rushed. I just wanted to update for you guys so I apologize if nothing makes any sense 😂.
