The Keepers

The Keepers are definitely on the more dangerous end of the spectrum, with enough power to make a nuke look like 7th grade science experiment. They wield tremendous power and have been known to push history in a certain direction from time to time, whether it be viewed as good or bad in the eyes of humans, to further their own agenda. The Keepers are comprised of just high class demons, luckily there are only seven demons in existence at the moment who wield this power. They are the Seven Lords of the Demon Realm; Doraimon, Gredrol, Rielstor, Pragonan, Tyalbit, Kihytol, and Logdaramn, or also known as the Keepers. What exactly do they keep? They each hold the keys to the Gate of Armageddon, a portal that leads to the Mortal Realm. The gate requires all seven keys to open, and since none of the Keepers quite trust each other, the Mortal Realms are quite safe for the moment.

Now, you may be asking, what are the keys? Well, there isn't much information on them. Just that all seven are required to open the Gate of Armageddon. In myths and legends, it is said that the orbs are prisons for powerful gods of different religions. Most common names mentioned are, Zeus, Ra, Odin, Jesus, Buddha, Vishnu, and Sun Wukong. This does not necessarily mean it's true, but it could explain why these keys are so valuable, and extremely powerful.

Now back to the Keepers. As you read just now, there are seven demons who have earned the title "Keeper", though this can change. These titles aren't set in stone, in fact, a being strong enough to defeat the current Demon Lord will inherit the title of "Keeper" and become in possession of one of the keys to Armageddon. Though this is highly unlikely, seeing as the current Keepers have been so for more than a thousand years, storing their power for the right time to use. These old geezers know how to plan things out to the last minuscule detail. So if you're caught up in one's plan, pray that it doesn't involve your imminent death.
