The Littlewoods were not political. They belonged in an era where population boomed, food prices rose five-fold, and mortality was higher than birth rates. Due to the lack of adequate sanitation and health care, the Black Plague spread rapidly, turning towns into death-traps.
Life never offered happy endings on a platter. Fate eagerly awaits to steal the things we treasure most beneath our fingertips. Since the earliest of time, our society has grieved for economic poverty and social injustice.
The Death of a Rose focuses on the plight of a family dealing with hopelessness and inevitable loss.
