As the days went on the kits grew to be adventurous trouble makers and constantly kept the clan alert in order to protect their leader's kin. The kits were often seen around the clan play fighting or talking to their mother or other clan members. A few days after they were born each kit had opened their eyes and again the cats were surprised by a certain kit. Flurrykit had inherited her Father's grey eyes while Nightkit gained his mother's amber eyes. The mates were once again surprised to see that their youngest kit, Sunkit, hadn't gotten either. Instead she had deep green eyes that seemed to constantly be analysing the world around her.
The kits were extremely curious about how the clan was run and spent a good deal of their time in the elders den, listening to the stories of the past.
One day as the kits were entertaining themselves play fighting Sunkit had an idea.
"Hey Nightkit, Flurrykit?" Sunkit mewed to her siblings "want to try to explore the forest?" Her eyes sparkling with curiosity. Instantly her siblings stopped their Leafclan vs Snowclan reenactment and stared wide eyed at their younger sister. "Sunkit are you completely crazy!" Flurrykit yowled "It's not safe outside of the camp. Especially for kits like us!"
"She's right you know." Responded Nightkit walking up next to Flurrykit his tail swishing in slight worry despite his calm look. "Who knows what's out there."
Sunkit just held her head high and sauntered off. Her tail straight as if to say you bunch if scaredy cats. I'm going regardless. Which just worried the kits more. Once Sunkit was out of sight of her annoying older siblings she quickly went to the gap in the barrier of the camp she had discovered while exploring. Taking a deep breath she squeezed through the gap and wondered off into the forest...

Cliffhanger! I'm glad I managed to get this out today as I had a lot to do but I'm happy with how it came out. Anyway thank you to the people who have actually taken the time to read this and know that I may not be able to update tomorrow as I have to get the last few things I need to do done before I go back to school but I will try to regardless.

Once again any form of feedback is a great help to me and I will continue to update whenever I get the chance.
