My Hidden Life

   It was Nova's first day of school she had to cover up all the cuts and bruises on her body so nobody would suspect anything.

"WAKE UP NOVA NOW" Her father said

Ever since Nova's mother had died her father has been acting weird.

  "GO TO SCHOOL" Her father constantly yelled. He never talks quietly constant screaming and yelling.
 
  Nova went to school gladly to get away from him. She met up with her friend Star, Nova had fresh bruises and cuts. 

  "Nova what happened?!?! Did your father do this?!?!" Star said fed up with her having scars cuts and bruises everywhere.

   "I can't say, he'll abuse me more. When I first told you about this I went home and got beat that's how I got this scar." 

  Nova lifted up her shirt revealing a large scar starting from the back of her neck going all the way down to her spine.

  "You're the only person who knows about this, if I was to tell anyone else I'm pretty sure I would be dead. I'm lucky I'm not dead already."

"I'm tired of this Nova, I'm calling the police." Star said

  "No you're not. If you or somebody else calls I'm definitely dead. He said exactly, "You call the police and I go to jail I'll make sure I get out and kill you""

"Wow your dad sounds like a monster..." Star said sympathetic.

  First class of the day, fighting. The teacher tells Nova and Alexander to fight. Alexander is undefeated and so is Nova.

   "I wouldn't mess with her Alexander." Said Star knowing who would win.

  "Psk I'm undefeated." Said Alexander cockily

  "So is Nova."

   "She's just a girl what's the worst she can do. She probably just fights sissys."

    The bell rings telling theme to start sparing, Alexander throws a punch as hard as he could first, Nova blocks it and throws a punch as well. Alexander tries to kick her she catches his foot and flips him.
