Chapter 11 -
Katniss pov.
Once the door bell rang I went to the door. I opened it, it was one of the gang who I was expecting, it was Cato.
"Why are you here?" I snapped.
"I want clove back"
"Too late. I think she likes someone else"
"Oh" is all he says
"There coming round soon, so could you go?"
"Please can I stay, just until clove gets here so I can talk to her?"
"If you must" I tell him before he sits down and makes himself at home.
When the door bell rings Annie and finnick are the first to arrive.
"What's he doing here" finnick said.
"he wants to speak to clove" I reply
"Finnick I never meant to hurt her" he said
He obviously knows Finnicks very protective over all his friends, like a big brother.
"You cheated on her!!!" Finnick shouts
"I love her" Cato shouts.
"You what?" I ask
"I love her" Cato says, realising how much he misses her. You can tell by the look in his eyes
Then There's a knock on the door, I look and see if its clove before I answer, but it's not, it's Peeta.
Cato stands up looking worried.
"It's Peeta" I reassure him, then he sits back down.
Once I open the door Peeta kisses me, then he sees Cato.
"What is he doing here?"
"He wants to speak to clove, he loves her." I tell him. He looked confused,
"But he cheated on her"
"Peeta, I know I did I shouldn't have, I miss her, I need her, I love her"
While Cato was saying that clove walked in, she heard it.
"Why is he here, and who does he love?" Clove said, looking angry. James was with her.
"Clove I love you, I came to speak to you"
James stood there awkwardly
"We can talk but I'm with James now" she said before pulling James into a hug.
Cato stood there speechless.
"We will leave you alone" I say pulling James into the kitchen
