[ Soulmates ] Jikook [ RE-WRITING ]

[ Chapter 1 ]

[ Jungkook P.O.V. ]

"Yah, Jungkook-ah wake up!" Taehyung whisper shouted to me while nudging me gently.

I yawn as quietly as possible trying to hide the fact that,

1. I'm embarrassed af and,

2. The fact that I'd just fell asleep in my health class with Mr Kim Seokjin.

"Thanks hyung." I quietly whisper to Taehyung for helping me avoid another unnecessary detention, but on the other hand it would've been a great chance to mess about with Yoongi hyung there.

Taehyung just nods and continues to look at Mr Kim Seokjin with much admiration.

Man I wish I could concentrate like Tae in times like these, I swear my parents are gonna kick me out of the house if I don't get my grades up soon.

I slowly raise my head to direct my attention back to Mr Kim Seokjin. It was all quiet murmurs in his lecture until he mentions the next topic will be about 'Soulmates'. I snapped my head up and took note of when the topic started.

I've always been really interested in the love path, how it works, how it feels, god I want to experience what it feels like to have someone that cares for me and will go out of their way to do anything for me, all I really want is some attention and affection. But most importantly I want to feel loved.

I let out a calm and content sigh as the bell rings.

"Jungkookie~ class just ended let's get outta here before the lunch line gets too crowded! Yah! Jungkook-ah wake up from your fantasies!" Taehyung eventually gave up with words and practically dragged me from my seat to the canteen.

Once we were fully seated with our food Taehyung decided to engage in a conversation with me.

"Hey, Jungkook-ah is anything wrong? You've been out of it since health class." Taehyung lightly taps my head while speaking.

"Oh, no I'm fine, I'm just thinking some things over."

"Alright, but talk to me if you need help okay?" Tae said slowly while reeling his hand back in and turning away, tone clearly laced with concern.

"Sure Tae." I respond frantically to end the conversation as fast as possible, I was about to continue eating my food but just as I hold my spoon up to my parted lips Hoseok walks over.

"Hey guys!" Hoseok yells happily as he walks over to take a seat at our table. We both greeted him and I decided to concentrate on eating my food while Tae and Hobi chat. I soon forgot all about the plate in front of me and my surroundings once again, I think about love, I happily hum as the thoughts dance around my head.

I wonder who'd be my soulmate?

I can't wait to meet them,

I hope we get along well,

I'm sure we will, I mean we were brought together by fate right?

I was brought back to reality with the loud sound of the bells ringing indicating that lunch was over and that the next class would start soon.
