[ Soulmates ] Jikook [ RE-WRITING ]

[ Chapter 4 ]

[ Jungkook's P.OV. ]

"Taehyung-ah hurry up and finish your food the bell already rung and health is about to start!" I scream while squirming in my seat and half pulling Taehyung's head out of his food.

Great, we're going to be late to the only class I'm actually excited for. I continued with my attempt to drag Tae out of the cafeteria but it clearly wasn't working. So I just ditched his arm and raced to the class with Tae calling after me.

I ran up to the classroom panting heavily with Tae not far behind me as I pulled the door towards the right opening the class room  I used a bit too much force and the door hit the door frame with a loud bang and all the students stared at us as well as Mr. Kim Seokjin.

Taehyung and I bowed deeply in embarrassment and didn't dare look anyone in the eyes as we walked back to our respective seats.

I settled in the back row sitting in between Bambam and Jackson, the brothers that wanted nothing to do with each other.

As I sat down and pulled all my equipment out I noticed a small pink haired boy sitting in front of me with a body the familiar build of Jimin's. I lightly tapped his shoulder and said hi, he waved back but immediately turned around the face the class again because Mr. Kim Seokjin had called his name on the roll.

I finally finished getting my desk ready and confirmed that I was present on the roll.

I kept fidgeting and squirming in my seat due to the excitement and suspension I felt towards the topic.

"Hey, uh Jungkook-ah are you alright, I mean you seem all jumpy."

I whipped my head towards my right and Bambam was there talking to me.

"I'm just excited for the class." I shrugged off while trying to stop my foot from lifting against the table once more and turn my attention back to the male at the front of the class with the broadest shoulders I've ever seen reaching for a whiteboard marker.

"Okay class, as you know we're starting the topic soulmates." Mr. Kim pauses long enough to write the heading soulmates on the board above him. He then turned back to us and continued,

"When you're old enough you'll have a soulmate it isn't just someone you'll spend the rest of your life with but someone you're connected with physically. You both will share your body but you won't be in the same body, catching it? Here let me explain, here's an example, if you were to have a birth mark or a pen mark on your arm, when you and your soulmate become of the certain age you'll both gain the marks." Mr. Kim's head slightly moved from right to left scanning the room to see if anyone was looking lost.

"Any questions?" Mr Kim asked.

I was focused until Jimin shot his hand up in front of me with a sparkle in his eyes and was jumping out of his seat,

Everyone was quite shocked at first especially Mr. Kim because Jimin is usually really quitet in class and never raises his hand.

"Is there a specific age when you meet your soulmate?"

Mr. Kim pulled his arm towards his face and made a face that seemed like he was thinking hard about it then replied with,

"There actually isn't a certain sage where you meet your soulmates, sometimes people don't meet their soulmates, but you start 'sharing bodies' when you're around the age of 16-20."

Jimin mumbled a little 'oh' and sat back down.

If I were completely honest with myself I would've let my mind explore how cute that was but I'd blamed it on the fact that he was wearing a fluffy grey jumper with sweater paws.

The bell soon rung which gave us permission to leave the classroom and head home for the day. I hoisted my bag over my shoulders, mumbled a quick goodbye to everyone and started on my hike home.
