Natsu can really be an idiot sometimes.
One day, Lucy and Natsu get into a huge fight.
Lucy broke up with him and stormed out of the Guild Hall.
Then Zeref captures her and orders her to become his personal slave.

The ground felt cold and damp. Lucy forced herself to pull herself up. Groggily, she sat up in a sitting position.
"Ugh...my head..." Lucy rubbed her still red eyes. She looked around, confused.
Why was she in a cell?
Then it all came rushing back and Lucy remembered; seeing Natsu kissing Lisanna, running into the woods, breaking up with Natsu in front of her friends from Fairy Tail, running further into the woods, crying even more and meeting that weird Zeref guy. Who had performed some powerful spell and kidnapped her!
She had to get out of there and go back to her Guild, as much as it would pain her to see Natsu's face again.
She got up. Lucy shook the bars of the cell.
Locked of course.
Thankfully, her keys were still with her.
'I bet Taurus could smash the bars.' She thought.
"Open, Gate of the Golden Bull: Taurus!" She half-yelled, swinging the key around.
The perverted cow did not materialize out of thin air as usual.
Why wasn't Taurus here?
Suddenly a voice was heard. "Magic doesn't work in the cells." In front of her cell, a dark-haired boy stood there scowling.
"Yeah, so don't even try Blondie." A blonde-haired boy stood next to the other guy.
"For your information, your hair is also blonde!" Lucy glared at the guys. "Who are you two anyways?"
"My name is Rogue Cheney." said the first guy.
"I'm Sting Eucliffe." He winked at Lucy. "What's yours Blondie?"

"Well now, this is your new home." Sting said.
"What?!" Lucy exclaimed.
Before Sting or Rogue could reply, another person stepped into view and spoke. "Rouge? Sting?" The person appeared to be a young girl, with super-long blonde hair and shining emerald green eyes. "Idiots!" She hit them both lightly. The boys faked getting hurt. "Is this any way to treat a guest? So sorry my dear. My name is Mavis Vermillion."
