the next day, siyeon was expecting jungkook to at least text her about what happened the day before. but, nothing.
she sighed, tired of everything. she kept on thinking if everything is really worth it, because this relationship is the only thing she's holding onto now.
she quickly searched for jimin's number and called him.
hiding her strained voice, she started the conversation.
"um. h-hey?"
"siyeonnieeee! are you okay?""i-i just want him back. can I talk to him?"
"siyeon-ah."
"please. it hurts like hell not being able to hear his voice every single day. please, help me."
the communication was suddenly cut off.
and just like that, siyeon felt like giving up.
she cursed multiple times and of course, her hatred towards fate kept on growing.
behind the doors, there's jungkook who snatched the phone away from jimin's grip.
jimin flinched, scared of getting hurt by the younger lad.
these past few days, jungkook locked himself up in his suffocating room, causing jimin to sleep outside. well, not like he had ever cared.
"stop, please. you are making this harder for me. stop contacting her."
"guess what? you're the one making it hard for yourself. you were the one who planned out this game, didn't you? from the way i see it, it's like you are testing yourself rather than testing her."
"i am. i am testing myself."
"huh? are you in your right mind now? go and take a rest. you will probably regret what you are about to say."
"i love her so much, and i am scared of losing her. she will probably realise that i am not good enough for her and leave me all alone in the dark,"
his tears rolled down. taking a deep breath, he continued.
"i am preparing myself for that to happen. i feel like it is going to happen soon."
jimin walked away, couldn't contain seeing the younger's state. awful.
he texted siyeon with a simple, 'come here. now.'
siyeon, thinking that jungkook was finally accepting her back, excitedly picked her clothes and head out the door.
