the days went by so quickly. nothing had changed much. the days was spent with her crying all day and with the big teddy bear by her side, to accompany her.

the fifteenth day was the only day she thought was special. september 1.

she got ready quickly. clad in her black overalls, she rushed out the door and head straight to the bighit building.

the building was so quiet that siyeon was kind of scared to go in there by herself.

and to make it way better, she saw jungkook, looking all sweaty and hot.

and she concluded that maybe, they had just finished practising for their new song.

she ran to jungkook and hug him tightly, causing him to find it hard to breath.

"happy birthday, jagi! we can spend the day together if you like! i miss you so much!"

"get away, siyeon. learn to follow the rules i have set."

and just like that, he went gone.

with disappointment hidden, she made her way back and threw away the cake she had baked.

the cake was decorated with rings at the top. weird. but she was hoping, that they will be able to live happily ever after.

upon reaching home, she was greeted with silence. she was genuinely getting used to it. she was used to jungkook's voice being replaced by silence.

she changed her clothes, put away the laundry and checked her phone.

upon checking her phone, she saw jimin posted of how jungkook was having fun at the birthday party.

how his smile widened.
how his eyes sparkled.

the same statement lingered.

while i'm here waiting for him.
