He clutched the little boy's hand, making sure not to trip on his hanbok (?) as they both ran. "Come on Jung Eun Hyung! Faster!" he cried, giggling as the elder rushed up behind him.

Jung Eun caught the boy's hand and laughed maliciously. "You'll never escape now mwuhahaha" he pretended, holding back a smile. The boy screamed and they both chased after each other.

An older man sturdily marched up to them and stopped in front of Jung Eun. "Prince Jung Eun. The queen has urgent information to tell you now. She awaits for you in her room." he informed him. Jung Eun frowned as if to say that he wanted to keep playing with his brother.

"Yes. Please inform her that I will be with her at once I put little Bo Soon into bed." he replied. The palace guard nodded and went back on his way. The two brothers followed and as soon as the little one was back in his room, Jung Eun went on his way.

As he neared the queen's room, he noticed something rather peculiar. It was quiet. Too quiet. Silent even apart from the birds chirping and the hustling of the wind. "Your majesty?" he said, opening the door and going inside.

"Prince Jung Eun. We must discuss an important matter. King Jeon Sun Woo has passed away." she said. It couldn't be.

"King... Father has died?" he asked in disbelief. He just couldn't have happened. He promised his son that he would've returned. He couldn't just leave. Not when he needed him the most.

" You will be put into a tournament with your relatives this week to claim your throne. It will be to the death. I am hopeful that you will succeed." she said triumphantly. She seemed like she didn't even care about her husband's death whatsoever. How could she be this cruel? How could she forget what just had happened?

What else was going to happen? His brother's death as well? His own death? Jung Eun couldn't bring himself to be in his position. He couldn't bring himself to stay calm all the time ever since he kept having those weird dreams.

He had so much to do; so much to say. He wanted to live in peace with his brother. He wanted to he accepted by his father.

Jung Eun didn't even get to tell anyone else his biggest secret.
