Jimin sat patiently in his seat, carefully turning over the next page of the book in his hands. His mother wasn't home, once again. He was used to being home alone almost all day and night. Before, he would stay up late until his mother came back home. Sometimes, he did if the spirits decided to keep bothering him but fortunately, the spirits weren't intruding in on him.

His mind reflected on when he started seeing ghosts but he just could not remember exactly when. Just then, he heard a slam from downstairs. He closed his book and walked towards the sound. He figured it was his mother, and rushed downstairs. "I thought you'd never come home, Mummy!" Jimin cried as he dashed down the flight of stairs.

He heard a glass shatter in the kitchen and suddenly froze. "Where are you, you little shit?" Jimin heard a deep voice say, recognising it at once. He ran back to his room, his eyes tearing, and locked the door shut.

He could hear the loud footsteps drawing nearer towards his door as he hid inside his bed. He knew he had to escape the house if he wanted to still see his mother. He turned toward his bedroom window and instantly rushed towards it. He had two options; jump out the window or hide in his closet. He wasn't going to risk the latter.

There was a loud banging at his door. "Open the door, kiddo. Your mummy wants to say goodbye to you before she dies," he said. Jimin slid the window up and sat on the window sill, praying that the impact wouldn't kill him. Before he could leap, a gun shot from behind him, cracking the door open. Jimin looked behind him and through the hole in the door. It was his father again. How was he here? She already told him he was dead. Jimin's mother would never lie to him.

Jimin jumped from the window instantly and crashed on the ground. By the time he had stood up, he was opening the front door already. "Help! Mummy!" He screamed, running down the streets. "Anyone!"

Jimin suddenly collided into a man with a black coat. He looked up at him but was moved aside. "Stay put." He ordered and raced towards Jimin's father. He took out his arm and, without hesitation, raised his hand causing Jimin's father to levitate in the air and pummelled back down on the earth. Jimin could only sit and stare in the bare grass, shivering in the cold.

"You stay careful of ghosts," the man in the black coat said to Jimin. He was completely bewildered by what he just witnessed but he was too tired to think properly. All at once, he started feeling sleepy and it wasn't long before he closed his eyes.

When he woke up, he was back in his room, sunlight pouring in from his bedroom window.

"I'm moving out."

Jimin turned his head to the elder. "You can't just leave, Yoongi hyung!" He cried out in a small whimper. "Are you serious?"

"Of course I am," He responded.

"Where are you going to move to?"

"Somewhere," Yoongi trailed off and quickly added "away from you."

"Ouch." Jimin put his hand on his heart. "But you can't leave! I'll miss you!"

"Miss me or miss me paying the rent?" Yoongi retorted. Jimin stayed silent for the remainder of the morning. He regularly pouted and tried to persuade Yoongi but he would always reply with the usual 'fuck off'.

"Please stay!" Jimin would wail out loud, embracing the elder as tight as possible.

"How many times do I have to tell you that I made my mind up. If you really want me to be with me, just move with me for fuck's sake." Yoongi told him but Jimin knew that he couldn't afford it.

He felt like ranting all of his emotions towards Taehyung like he usually would do but suddenly remembered the state he left his, probably now, ex-best friend. Jimin roughly ruffled his hair and took out his phone from his pocket. He knew he had to set things straight if he wanted him back. Yet he was frightened if Taehyung still wanted him back.

"Pick up hoe," He muttered after dialling his friend's number. Jimin counted the amount of rings he heard. One, two, three, four-

"Taehyung?" Jimin said at once. Taehyung remained silent. "Hey, I know you might be busy and I'm sorry for not meeting up with you recently b-"

"Jimin, it's okay. I've been busy myself." Taehyung replied, a small quiver in his breaths.

"Taehyung, no. I'm sorry I keep bailing out on you especially after the..." Jimin's memories retraced to his birthday when he let down his bestfriend. He did not want to let him down again and he certainly did not want to lose him. "Let's meet up in the cafe again later."

"Jimin... We have finals coming up."

"Oh lighten up. I haven't seen you in ages and I have tons to tell you. That is, if you're up for it."

"Fine. Five pm. Bring your books. I'm making sure you study." Taehyung replied before hanging up abruptly. Jimin felt a huge weight lift from his shoulders as he put down his phone. He punched the air and dived onto his bed.
