I was waiting there in the terminal waiting for my plane, Gate 12 Seat 18. All that was on my mind was a new life and new future. All I ever wanted to do is to get away from my life back in England. For all my bad memories to just melt away. To make new, sweet memories. Moving away wasn't the best choice for me, but back in London, I was very unhappy. I mean, it was a beautiful place to live and all, but I lost close friends, family and all that. It was hard, but you know what? living on my own was better for me and my ego.   I'm leaving the memories behind and starting a new chapter in the beautiful land of LA and see where life will take for me from here.  I heard  from the loud, big speakers a lady saying,

"Everyone from Gate 12 get your tickets out, please. Thank you for your cooperation." So I lined up for the lady to scan the ticket and I entered my new life onto that plane.

I was entering the cold walkway to the plane. It had the smell of oil and the loud noises of planes landing and taking off. I was greeted by the flight attendant and went to go put my luggage in the compartment and went to go find my seat. When I finally found my seat, I noticed I was sitting next to 2 very good looking guys around my age, 17. Both were identical to the other. They had very defined facial looks especially their knife-like jawlines. I just stared at them, peacefully sleeping lost in their music. I was trying not to make any sudden movements so that they wouldn't wake up. So, I slowly lowered my body onto the warm, leather seat and clicked my belt silently. Once I sat, I took out my backpack and I found this notebook that says "Chase your Dreams", a pencil, and new headphones. I opened it and I found a letter written on a piece of binder paper:

Dear Kylie,

I would just like to say that I hope you enjoy your life in the new country of AMERICA. I saw you back in London. You were happy there, but it slowly faded away from school, bullying, and us. And I am so sorry for disowning you, I didn't mean to, your father didn't mean to, and you know that we love you lots. But let's stop talking about that for a while. I know it brings back bad memories. I have written 4 steps and you need to follow them. 1. Stay safe 2. write out your emotions 3. sing through the haters 4. Enjoy life! Follow them ok kiddo? Write me every day! And love you lots!

Love,

Mom

After reading that touching note, I was thinking to myself. I was regretting all the things I did to my parents. I know that they didn't do it to hurt me, they just wanted a better life for me and I didn't except that. STOP! I needed to snap myself out of all the bad memories in London. I moved here to LA for a reason. A better life. So,  I opened the notebook. The pages smelled like fresh trees. I liked it. I took my pen and wrote my LA life goals to achieve:

1. Make new friends

2. Find a stable career

3. support yourself

4.  maybe find love

5. ENJOY

While writing my last thoughts, I heard a faint noise under my headphones. Then I felt a tap on my right shoulder. Then I turned around and found him staring right at me.....

(I hope you all enjoyed my first chapter! This is my first publishing and I hope you guys will stick with me through this journey! Love, Paris❤)
