It is said that she rode her chariot of silver hunting the sun and the hooves of the horses flew so fast that pieces of them flew off their skin and became stars, and everyday she would nurture them back to health. 

One day, a boy gazed up in wonder and hope. And love. The innocence and the beauty shone so bright that the goddess was dazzled by the brightness and come down from the path of the heavens to look at the source of life.

His warmth melted her icy heart and frigid set and she remembered her gift of motherly love. Henceforth poured one silver drop of elixir onto the man she loved; and vowed to live and die with him, in sickness and in health. 

That is why the moon follows the descendants of Him.
